Don't eat the mushroom risotto. Vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours, plus doctors fees is not much fun.

Although everything seemed to go well until not long after leaving the restaurant, stomachs began to ache, and then the rest of the night was spent hanging around the bathroom. Both me and my girlfriend suffered terrible after effects and haven't been able to leave home. Do not recommend.

Wrong menu is published on the internet, so when we went their comparing to the reviews and photos is completely different and very limited. The food is under average and staff are so rude. Sadly the only positive thing is the location.

I am really disappointed and shocked, I saw the reviews and the menue before going and all the photos and reviews sounds great but in fact the food is aweful I had the worest pizza ever in my life and the quality of food is way behind the prices, also staff are not nice and and I am really disappointed.

I eat in the atmosphere while looking at the view next to the river.
The taste is really bad.

When you pay at the end, they watch from the side and open the tip window, but there is no tipping culture in Australia.
I feel like they forced me to be a foreigner.
When I found out later, I felt quite bad.

Beautiful little Italian on Southbank. Coming from out of town and staying the night in twon, we enjoyed a chilled evening walk around Federation Sq and then decided to walk to Southbank. There we saw this place which has great service and the food was generous and gorgeous. Well done.

Antony was the most lovely man. He took our order with care as I have a fussy eater and he couldn’t have helped me enough. The food was absolutely amazing and made with the freshest of ingredients. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Their signature veg pizza is fantastic, the crust is really thin and crispy. The toppings are slightly salty but tastes really nice.
This is a good spot to grab a bite before going to the orchestra.
Recommend sitting by the window and order a cocktail whilst watching the city lights

Ordered a pizza, was one of the beat Ive ever had. Customer service was amazing, management was happy to help with anything. Amazing time, amazing food and an amazing experience, highly recommend to anyone

Chose this place due to its proximity to Hamer Hall for later. Service was prompt and friendly at first but was a little more stretched as it got busier. Mushroom risotto was full of Mushrooms and really tasty. Coffee was great but didn't have time to have sweets so will have to return. We sat inside because it's cold but outdoor seating alongside the river in warmer weather would be beautiful.
Have already recommended Teatro to others.

The wine is very nice and a waiter gave us free wine and nice dessert. Will come back for the wine！

Terrible. I get so excited about overpriced Italian food as it's usually incredible food and great service. This restaurant has neither. Worth pasta at $34 a bowl, they don't even give you a free piece of bread!

I had to send my food back as it was not cooked properly. After they remade it, there was so much salt in the second version it was not edible, - and I love extra salt! They acknowledged it was very very salty but that's how they make it. It was so repulsive Terrible ambiance too, and the wine selection is $14 a bottles wines sold at $89. Keep walking, do not eat here.

Location, music and decor was beautiful! Calamari quite oily & soggy, quality did not change when asked to recook and still oily & soggy.table sat next to us left without eating their Calamari… don’t know why?

Seafood Spaghetti with small Prawn chopped to tiny pieces. Pizza was quite ordinary as taste was quite plain.

If you enjoy food poisoning then this is the place for you. On Friday the 22nd of July a friend and I came to Teatro, spent a significant amount of money and then spent the rest of the weekend in bed violently ill. The calamari looked good but definitely came back to haunt us in the worst way. Avoid eating here if you enjoy the freedom of being more than 2 feet away from a bathroom.

Went for date night with my partner last week end, the food was great and the cocktail delicious. They were very accommodating with my dietary requirements and the waitress really well looked after us.

An amazing dinner and wonderful food, very tasty with amazing variety. Our waitress Nakiso was absolutely fantastic so friendly and nothing was to much. Highly recommended this place for food and service

This place is ok, not terrible but also not amazing. The service was good and the tiramisu is a huge serve, also very good, but the pizza and pasta we had seemed mediocre and overpriced compared to sone competition.
It is right next to Hamer Hall which is convenient.

When reading the menu at this restaurant there was a spelling error in the mocktail section. Already starting off with a bad start. Then when ordering food our calamari was soggy and oily which was unpleasant to eat, not just that the price of it was 18 dollars. Who would want to pay for that, surely I wouldn't if you ask me.

Though I couldn't forget about the pizza. Pizza first of all was cold and the toppings were so ungenerous. There was 4 salami slices and 4 olives plus 4 spots of cheese. I bet I could get more out of a 10 dollar dominoes pizza.
