Amazing! The experience here is beyond exceptional. Terry is someone who knows his teas, passion for the industry.he provides such great insight into life, tea ect. Don't be in a rush when visiting as you want to experience it all.

Always a great way to get away from it all and just sit in peace and enjoy a cup or 20.

This is a cute little tea shop that provides an amazing tea drinking experience with a high variety of tea options that are of high quality. Terry was a fantastic host - he was super friendly, knowledgeable and patient with us whilst we decided what teas we wanted to have. The customer service overall was delightful and it was a lovely experience. We can’t wait to come back!

I bought the Ripe Puerh tea online after trying it from a work friend and really enjoyed it. It looks like bark but has a great earthy flavour to it and does not give that diuretic affect that most teas do. I feel very settled.

I called the shop person to check if it was the right tea and they were really helpful and lovely. They also informed me this is a vintage chest batch so I hope it doesn’t run out. They shipped it as soon as I ordered and it came within 3 working days even though it’s the Christmas period!

Tranquil, calm @teamooau Chinese specialty and rare tea shop in South Yarra

First we tried the rose and black goji berry tea which has a beautiful purple colour and sweet and sour floral notes. Refreshing fruity tea

Second was a citrus ripe puerh tea which was quite mild in flavour and reminded me a bit of oolong cha in Japan.

Third tea was a high quality loose leaf black tea with a wood smoking technique they use for the tea leaves to give it a smokey quality. ️

He has great vegetarian homemade dumplings with with mushrooms and small veggie’s inside. These go well with tea?

Inside the shop is a small water fountain for atmosphere and soft Chinese music.
You can buy tea cups, pots, boxes of tea and even cigars too. Nice shop!

Beautiful experience, the owner is extremely passionate and will talk you through his many years of experience with tea. This place is definitely worth it and should have a line outside!

I went into today looking for raspberry leaf tea, and the lovely man helped find an alternative and even gave me a couple free testers. Thank you so so much, I really appreciate it! So friendly!

The tea here is so so good! There is a lot of variety as well. If you're not sure what you'd like to try, Terry will kindly recommend something based on your tastes! We had a lovely time here and I'll definitely be coming back to have some tea again soon.

This is a hidden gem in the minefield that is South Yarra. Jordan served us with expertise and a lovely gentle manner. The vegan dumplings and tea was exemplary. Will definitely be back to try more.

Every once in a while, serendipity strikes from the most unexpected corner. Like finding your soul mate in an oncology waiting room. Teamoo was such an experience. I entered with trepidation, climbing to the top floor of a rustic home to have tea served by a young man who by all accounts seemed.adled. But the afternoon turned into a sumptuous affair with delectable teas, chosen by the very same gentleman whom one can only conclude is a tea savant. Bravo Jordan. Long live Teamoo! May our paths cross again.

I've been by twice prepared to buy a small fortune worth of tea. But both times the shop door has been locked with the open sign still displaying, as if to mock me! This is during advertised opening hours.

Lovely tea room! Spent the last night pre-lockdown here and felt truly looked after by the staff - would highly recommend for the tea, food and ambience:) Will definitely be back in time!

Teamoo is by far the best tea shop I have come across in Melbourne. Not only the tea tastes good but the aroma, flavor and full of health benefits. Terry, has been a wonderful host and helped me choose the right tea. Highly recommended.

My housemate and I are Tea fanatics, and tonight we were blown away with the impressive details in this place. The owner Terry has incredible, extensive knowledge about Tea, he went over and beyond for us and he was so accomodating. The passion that this Tea house was created from is definitely reflected by the beautiful atmosphere in its humble, warm setting. The tea range is extensive and authentic, and there are so many amazing tea gadgets that are super cool and handy! Can't recommend this place enough! I didn't realise that i could love Tea more than i already do. A must do in Melbourne!
