Have been ordering from here for almost 20 years and every time it’s fantastic. Best fish n chips in the west

The best fish n chips in the West hands down- we travel 15 mins and past 4 other fish n chips shops to eat here.
Chips aren't iverly oily and the perfect combo of crispy and squishy/soft.
We love their Hamburgers in batter too.so juicy and with a lot if crunch but still light.
The family who run it are the best, so friendly and kind. We love you guys

The nicest souvlaki so generous on the meat filling and tasty! Can’t wait to go back and try some fish and chips!

Went to Taylors Lakes Fish and Chip shop yesterday.
It’s 3.32am right now and I’m still blown away by staff with no masks, no long hair tied back, beards on men and very very loud talking amongst themselves.
I walked in. A man (customer I guess) was talking away to the staff. Clearly not ordering.
He walked out and I ordered.
I then went to Bottle shop near Woolies.
I came back and stood inside to wait for my order.
The staff were talking amongst themselves when a couple of minutes later, one of the young girls asked me to wait outside.
I walked out and waited outside.
While waiting outside, the staff were very loud speaking amongst themselves.
I couldn’t help but think, none of the staff have masks on, a man was in there for a long period talking to staff, yet I get told to wait outside.
Why should I wear a mask to protect myself and others when the many staff cooking my food aren’t protecting me and the rest of the public by not wearing masks?
Double standards? Discrimination? I don’t know anymore. What I do know is I won’t be back.

Tried this place for the firsr time and it was absolutely beautiful, had it 2 nights in a row now. Wasn't oily just perfect

What a joke of a place honestly out of 8 people working tonight not 1 person with a mask on they obviously don't care about covid and then it got even worse after that this place hosntestly knows nothing of hygiene I worked in takeaway for 3+ years and not once have I seen girls working with long hair in high ponytails! Always kept in a braid or a bun hosntestly then there was to no one's surprise hair in the food! And the price of the mimamum chips what a rip off you can get 3 times as much down the road for $5

Ordered grilled flake and it was full of crumbs and it tasted awful, was made to stand outside like a dog when there was no one in the shop. People walking in from outside going behind the counter handling food without washing their hands then coming out claiming they're security. What a joke

Today being Easter Friday I ordered Flake and potato cakes from Taylors Lakes fish and chips.my family was so so pleased, my husband said that it was the best battered flake that he’s ever had.the batter was fresh and crunchy and the fish was thick and fresh, well done!
well done to the team there my family is very pleased and I’m pleased to please them, thank you Taylor’s lakes fish and chips. I would highly recommend this fish shop.

This is the worst fish and chips I've ever had.
I asked for grilled flake and received something crumbed and tasteless. Potato cakes falling apart. Very disappointing and will never have my business again.

Purchased some fish and chips 8: 10 pm 13/12/20, the chips were good, but the piece of flake was disgracefully small, about 14 the size of a normal piece, rip off. First and last visit.

Best Fish & Chips in the area.
This place only has two faults, 1: It's not open Mondays, and, 2: They don't deliver.
Other than that, it's perfect.
Absolutely love their fish and chips, perfect potato cakes, and they cook the fish delightfully. My kids love the burgers, so everyone's happy.

Ordered a souvlaki from here expecting it to be at least an average to good meal considering the price of $10 plus.
Wouldnt even feed the meat she warmed up on the grill to my dog.

Honestly, this place makes a really mean hamburger with the lot. I haven't found a better one yet. Yet.

Very nice staff & recently the threw in some extra dimmies for free. Gotta love an honest family business.
