Great service at this bridal shop. Even though I didn’t buy a gown from Jacqui, she was so patient with me and helped me figure out what I might be after. I walked in off the street to have a look and found a beautiful dress that was in my short list for sure! The fit was so perfect. Elegant and feminine design. I went with another dress somewhere else but wanted to let others know that if you shop here you won’t be disappointed with the service and quality of the gowns! Finally, a chance to thank Jackie for her efforts for a New Years Eve Formal Wedding 2019/2020.
Even though l was a guest, I required a formal gown and not wanting anything with beading, too much lace or slinky and being a 'goddess' size, Jackie came up trumps. I had thought of a modified gown.and goodness we achieved something fabulous together.
The 'Audrey' dress was amazing and choosing a pastel shade (latte') was perfect. The run before Christmas shutdown was tight but Jackie made it happen. An absolute wizz and l'm so very grateful.

Taylah Ashleigh is not just for traditional brides and debutante gowns, but for those looking for something extra.you only have to ask.

I had been to a couple of other bridal shops but when I walked in to Taylah Ashleigh and met with Jackie I knew this was the place for me. Jackie is very lovely and down to earth she helped me pick try on a few dresses and with a couple of alterations I had what I wanted. I was getting married within a couple of months and this was not a problem for Jackie and my dress arrived way before the date. The price tag was also really reasonable. I would definitely recommend going in and having a chat with Jackie to get the dress you want for your special day.

So happy with my dress! Because of covid my school cancelled my deb until next year. I took up the sale Taylah Ashleigh Bridal had through lockdown & buying my dress has given me something to look forward to when I can have my deb. Jackie sent my mum & I heaps of photos & zoom called when it was brought in as we can’t try it on and I’m sooo happy! Thank you so much from my mum Deb and I!

When we visited Taylah Ashleigh Bridal we didn’t have much time, only one month to the marriage ceremony and Jackie was really helpful and she did her best to make the gown and deliver it on time, my mom was so happy with the result because we had to take it overseas And needed it before we leave. The quality of the dress is so good and made so well.

I decided that I wanted a beautiful dress for my wedding without the price tag of a proper wedding gown, so I wasn’t particularly interested in bridal shops. All my expectations changed, though, the moment I stepped into Taylah Ashleigh Bridal.
I was greeted by the gorgeous Jackie, whose warmth made me feel like I was meant to find this very special shop. I quickly learnt why Jackie was in this business; she genuinely loves helping brides and debutantes find their perfect dress. I was so impressed by the range of pricing, I felt confident I’d be able to find a gorgeous dress within my budget.
Jackie’s knowledge, honesty and flair for style were comforting in circumstances where I wasn’t sure what would work for me. I trusted her and was able to rely on her guidance.
I fell in love with the second dress I tried on and although Jackie didn’t have my correct size, getting it in was no issue. I lived four hours’ drive from the shop so when it was time for my fitting Jackie coordinated with her lovely dressmaker to attend and measure and tweak my dress, and it was ready for me to take home that day. That level of care is uncommon in most industries.
My experience with Jackie at Taylah Ashleigh Bridal was beautiful and added to the magic of my special day. I have the utmost appreciation for Jackie and no hesitation in recommending her to all potential brides and debutantes. Thank you again so much Jackie, you are a beautiful soul xx

I am quite the picky bride in choosing gowns, and havent found any brand that I like till I chanced upon Taylah Ashleigh Bridal. Love the whole bridal shopping experience here, and it didnt take me long to find not 1 but 2 gowns that i love, thanks to Jackie's special eye in recommending gowns that I would have never thought of trying, but so glad I did:) Jackie has a genuine heart in seeing her brides who walk in to find the dream dress that they are looking for, and finds great joy in helping you through the whole process till the end. Her heart for her brides is something which I appreciate very much

BUYER BEWARE!
Picture this …. I visit this shop in January 2019 with my daughter to look for a deb dress. The deb is to take place in April 2019. We order a dress to be made with a Sweetheart neckline and tie back corset. This is clearly written on the receipt that is given to us. I paid the deposit of $225.00, the dress would come in from overseas around the end of March.
2 months later …. I receive a text (not a phone call) from Jackie, the owner of the store to inform me that the dress has come in but, not as ordered. Instead of a tie back corset it has a zip at the back. My daughter was devastated as she had her heart set on the tie back corset and it was now the end of March and her Deb was less than 4 weeks away. We visit the store to be told if we wanted to alter the dress to a tie back corset WE would have to pay to have it altered! Sorry? … we actually ordered a tie back corset and we did not receive what we ordered? Why should we be paying to have it altered? I said to her that we would look elsewhere for another dress and she agreed that if we found one, she would refund our money. In panic mode, we rushed around from store to store but we were lucky enough to find one so we went back to Taylah Ashleigh for our refund. This is when she asked us to provide bank account details and put it in writing that we no longer wanted the dress that did not arrive as ordered, she asked me to do this via an email. 3 days, Jackie Collins (store owner and lady we have dealt with all along) sends me a text saying that she has terms and conditions and that she is out of pocket because we are not taking the dress…. (remember the dress is NOT what we ordered)! At no point did she offer to have it altered to what was ordered at HER COST, no! She wanted us to pay for that! How is this fair? Anyway she goes on to say that she would give our deposit back, but we had to wait 30 days to give her time to sell the dress and then if she had to sell the dress at a reduced price, this amount would come off our deposit. Excuse me? Is this the way anyone does business? I was gobsmacked! If I am being unreasonable please note in the comments.
Upon advising Jackie of how unreasonable she was being I informed her that I had already consulted with Consumer Affairs, who advised she had violated several acts, I told her If she was not willing to refund me my full deposit I would see her at VCAT. No more than 1 hour passes when she sends me another message stating that she is over the situation and if I provide my bank account details she would refund my money in full! Finally she sees right from wrong! (even though 30 days for a refund is still unreasonable). Fast forward 40 days plus and still no refund! I guess I will be taking this matter to VCAT so she can learn the hard way. This lady is a shark and desperate for business! I would never buy anything from this store and I have warned many about her business conduct. I hope to reach many more by writing this review.

Highly recommend! My daughter and I went to this bridal store for a Deb dress and couldn't have been happier. Friendly and efficient customer service, dress arrived in plenty of time, fits perfectly.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE! THIS STORE OWNER IS A MONEY HUNGRY THIEF!
We Left deposit for a dress made to order and after 4 months, no dress and no refund of deposit. We have a clearly written receipt which describes what was ordered, yet when the dress arrived it was only half made to description. She then wanted to charge us to have it altered to match description! This lady is a liar and only offered to do good after she was threatened with VCAT. She lied and said she would refund the deposit, but to this day she has not! Do not put yourself through what she has done to me and my mum. She ruined a very special memory of my Deb. Clearly a desperate woman who can't make an honest sale.

Jackie at Taylah Ashleigh bridal was extremely helpful and incredible to work with. I got the dress of my dreams and am eternally grateful! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Best shop I could have chosen for my Debutante dress! Not only was I given the best selection of one of a kind value dresses, I was taken care of with genuine care and every little detail was checked. Can't recommend Taylah Ashleigh enough If you have a bridal or deb event coming up!
