Taste of Thai

The food was not bad, but it did not taste like I would expect. The Pad Thai tasted like it had sweet chili sauce added, the Massaman curry was more like an Indian curry, sweet, very soupy, possibly with cinnamon, but no trace of peanut. The red duck curry was very savoury, didn't really taste like a red curry, and had no pineapple or lychee, and the duck had a very fatty mouth feel. The satay skewers were the best thing flavour-wise, the sauce was good, but the chicken was a bit dry. Overall nothing was bad, but based on our experiences with other Thai food it was strange.

Always a good experience at Taste of Thai. No frills, quick service, halal, good taste, hefty portions!

Was wondering why they had a signage on the wall that say 50 cents for containers, cos their portion are larger then usual for asian. Five spice noodle soup was flavourful. Kid love their spring rolls. Fried Rice could be better.overall Value for money. Will visit again to try other dishes

Food was good but the service was rubbish, i wish there is an option for 0 star coz that's what they deserve.

Delicious food. Seems as though servings are smaller. Prices are the same. I guess that's the result of a higher cost of living.

Ordered the Padthai. Got noodles that taste like tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce. Maybe just rice noodles and ketchup?

No doubt wins the prize as the WORST Thai food I’ve ever eaten and amongst the worst takeaways of any stripe; tasteless, overpriced slop. Spring rolls that tasted like old socks and indescribably bad noodles. Would seriously rather go hungry than eat from there again.

The worst branch, food not good. Hygiene concerns. Drive further and go to Thomastown - management is perfect and food good and consistent every time at Thomastown.

Friendly staff, delicious food, clean restaurant. Halal food all across the menu. Great presentation of the cuisine.

Got delivered by uber got dropped off next door I had to go look for it paid like $120 something to get cold food dry chicken lamb was ok but still not happy with what I paid

I haven't dined here for a long time, the portion sizes are smaller than they used to be. I asked and paid for extra vegetables in my stirfry and the serving size was smaller than if I had not ordered extra vegetables! My husbands sizzling hot plate was also a smaller portion. Not much vegies and very little seafood. Disappointed.

Very average sorry to say! Went there thinking it would be as good as the one in Thomastown but was very let down. I wish each of the 3 locations would be exactly the same.

Food was great nice portions and friendly staff, but they need to get the cooling system fixed was too hot?

Taste of Thai is my thai getaway. I love the thai cooking here, it’s the most authentic I’ve had and it’s been consistent. A secret I’ll let you in, taste of Thai has many branches. They do the same menu but the Coburg branch stands out in taste, their chef is definitely better.

Not bad, food quantity is very good. But soup price is a bit high. Quality not so yummy but not bad at all. Overall its ok.

Tom Yum soup and red chicken curry were awesome. Tamarind prawns were so so. Overall good service and food.

I had the Tom yum goong soup. The best I ever have had and mixed entree.
