Taste of Pho

Went to have a dinner tonight at Taste of Pho! Loved it! So delicious and a very friendly staff
Missed them in January when they had a break and YAY they are back

Dont ever go to this place. Waited 2 hours for the food to come, called the restaurant up a few times, had to cancel the order because the food never came. Disgrace

Always a great meal from this restaurant.
Prefer to take away as the ambiance is a bit lame.
But it’s about the pho and it’s always good.

Friendly, quick service, and very tasty. Fresh ingredients and very similar to my food experiences in my time in Vietnam.

Ordered vermicelli noodles with pork and spring rolls. Very disappointing, Greasy, very limited veggies and overpriced. Only ate it because hungry and still hungry! Would never go back. Much prefer Hoi An House in Hampton East, fresher and much better value.

Best pho place in town, hands down. Been going for years and it's only gotten better with time

What used to be reasonable has now turned to rubbish. Beef pho, tasteless watery stock, no asian herbs served, just beanshoots. When asked for the herbs we got sorry, we don't have any! Can we please have some Coriander then, as there was a leaf in the soup; we got a small flat dish of chopped spring onions. For the bun with bbq pork, not much better, 5 small slices of pork on top of half a kilo of vermicelli noodles, lettuce as garnish and as I order additional spring rolls they were also on top. The spring roll filling tasted sour and bordering on off. My guts are churning already, BEWARE! We give every place a second chance if not quite up to scratch, but this place is a definite NO MORE! Cheers from very disappointed mckinnon locals.

The pho tasted good, but about thirty minutes later I got the runs. This got worse and worse, cramps, bloating, nausea, until finally I was vomiting with a fever.

I was sick from about 4pm yesterday until 4.30am, horrible. Maybe staph.

Food poisoning is hard to prove, but I hadn't eaten anything except toast with butter at home earlier in the day.

I think it would be good for the restaurant to review how it's handling the beef.

Service was excellent. The lady was smiles and friendly. 3 adults & 2 kids under 8yrs. We had the chicken rice noodles stir fry, Chicken & pork spring rolls & the chicken only pho soup large. All delicious and fresh. The kids are fussy eaters and they ate a lot. We'll definitely be back. Ps use condiments provided to your soup they're delicious also.

Taste of pho is an incredible Vietnamese restaurant, I’ve been coming here for a while and not once have I been disappointed with my meal:)

Had lunch there last week, the Pho is 100% the same every time, so good. Dont have to drive to Richmond to have authentic experience.

Ordered delivery tonight. Overall, good pho soup, but the "rare beef" wasn't at all rare. It arrived on top of the noodles in the bowl and looked already cooked. Most of it was overcooked, once I had to reheat the soup and assemble it. It was also missing Thai Basil? Barely any coriander, just lots of green onions. Could have been a stand out dish, just lacking in execution

Delicious. I ordered the chicken pho it was so good this place is probably the best pho place I’ve ever been to.

Love this place. Been going here since they opened and never had a bad meal. From the veggie spring rolls, pho, fried rice to the stir fry noodles you cant go wrong. Traditional and tasty you cant go wrong

I ordered the special beef pho and porc spring rolls. The soup was light which was a change for me as the ones i had in the past were quite rich. It was missing a few things like beef balls, tendons etc to call it a special beef pho. The porc filling inside the spring rolls didn’t taste fresh and had a strange smell which to me indicated it wasn’t fresh.
Nonetheless i enjoyed the pho and the service.

Fabulous food at a reasonable price. Don't expect atmosphere - the food and company are the experience. Service is friendly and usually prompt and efficient. Sadly, this time our drinks order just didn't arrive at the table. Oops!

The original Pho in Bentleigh and the best. Great family business, good service and value for money. Highly recommend!

The pho is reasonably good and consistent, both eat in and take away. Good serving size. Spring rolls and the rest of the entrees are run off mill but priced accordingly. Service was prompt and food arrived pretty quick. Good choice if you're local.
