Taste of India reviews
65 Ordered take away, it was cold by the time we got it home, even though we live only a few streets away. The naan bread was very nice also the chicken chili, although I would have liked the capsicums to have been more cooked as they were very crunchy. The other dishes were ok.
First time we have ordered from here.
I would like to dine in next time and then decide if it’s a go for us or not.
I ordered Butter Chicken with Saffron rice. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Love food always when I order,
Great service always smile in face,
highly recommended, pls try everyone
Thanks
Good tasty food, reasonable price, atmosphere was bit blah, otherwise good place for some good indian food.
Good place to eat in. Great food. I love their lacha parathas and they have decent portions as well. Must try. Home like food, I had spent good time with family. My dad doesn’t eat outside food but he was always happy to eat in here often. I want to try few other things as well. So far tried daal, malayi kofta, few chicken dishes, etc.tandoori rotis are amazing. I hope they Maintain the quality.
A small Indian restaurant with good consistent food and even better service. Accidentally gave us palak paneer instead of palak murgh, but were more than happy to make us a new one. Worth giving it a try.
This restaurant has delicious food. And good service. We ordered Shahi Paneer, Dal Tadka, Butter Naan, Onion Chilli Naan and Rice. The presentation as well as the taste was excellent.
I was looking forward to trying a new place for dinner and stumbled upon Taste of India. We ate lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, rice, and cheese and garlic naan. Everything was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. Thanks to the waitress, Paawan for her lovely service.
Highly recommended.
We order 4 dishes 2 starters and 1 main’s everything was great, good quantity, quality, taste, presentation and geneual price even drinks are very good presentable will definitely dine in again!
One of the best Indian food restaurants. I highly recommend it to the people living around Northern-Suburbs of Melbourne.
The food was abundant, tasty and delicious. The staff helped out in choosing some chef specialty that were lovely!
Good taste and overall experience at this place. Probably one of the better Indian restaurants in the Northern suburbs.
Do try their malai soya champ (entrée), dal makhni and naan.
The only bit of improvement would be the food sits heavy on the stomach so the chefs could work on that. But by far taste wise no match!
Where should I begin praise for this joint - Knowledgable Owner & the caring staff & immaculate food. The great chef/owner who knows his game top level. Staff who is always switched on & happy to assist customer in every manner. Now my best part - ABSOLUTE DILIGENT FOOD: its fresh, authentic, primitive details with tadka, soft af breads, great biryani, THE ULTIMATE CHICKEN HANDI- not to mention i have eaten in & did take away from over 50 indian places in Melbourne but this one is top of my LIST as i love the way i get my food cooked with pure heart & soul. THANKS CHEF - you are best!
Every single detail of every dish & freshness & the time taken - its all worth every second.p. S. - i have already spent over $500 worth in orders from this place already so it’s must be good!
Delectable food with great service.
All dishes were excellent and equally flavoursome.
We tried the food at this restaurant and it really met our expectations. Sanya was very friendly and guided on what can we customise with our food items. Gajrela was ultimate.
The food is really fresh and tasty. Everything is clean and stuff is very friendly. Will come back again!
Good food with decent serving size but service can be more improved by adding extra front staff overall good experience.
Food is really nice and freshly made. Fair price and clean restaurant.
Customer service is really good. Will come back again.
Authentic Indian food.
Recommend the lamb rogan gosh
Butter chicken tastes like raw tomato paste, not recommended.
Excellent naan
Have the sweet lasso with your meal
