The porterhouse steak we purchased from Tasman Meats, which we barbecued medium done, was total garbage. Very tough and totally flavorless. Will never buy from Tasman again

Always good. The variety and prices are always a great shop, sort of the hardware store and electronics store for meat.
The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and willing to help you with anything you might need.
I can browse for a good hour loading up on goodies for myself, my boy Millhouse who loves a bone for the weekends.
My partner after an exhausting day at Chadstone with my daughters or girlfriends.
Just loves what Mills and I have conjured up when she gets home.

Never had an issue buying meat from here. Great service from all staff as well.

Very good value. Has a great range gluten free options for sausages to chicken sticks to chevaps each etc etc. Never had and cross contamination. Gluten free foods are well labelled and identified

Great selection of meats and some other items and frozen foods. Butchers are available to help. The store is clean, organised well and in a convenient location.
Helpful and cheerful employees top the experience.

The cashier today was so lovely! Totally made up for the fact one of the men was restocking and had cardboard and trolleys everywhere making it difficult to move and leaving 2 isles unable to get down.

The new head butcher is awesome, he actually has a personality and knows how to communicate to customers effectively.

Update: Everyone in the team finally looks like they all want to work there.

Go here often when I am staying nearby to get something for dinner. Love the variety of food and that I can get other bits and pieces like dips, sauces and snacks.

Love this Butcher! The service with a smile always counts here and the staff really appear to enjoy what they do, helpful and courteous.
The cuts are really good quality and they always have a wide variety meats including large slabs of meat that you can portion yourself or smoke on the BBQ.
Prices are really good value that you can’t help but want to stock up the freezer - Incidentally, you can buy a 2kg-2.5kg chuck steak piece for slow cooking, dice it yourself, freeze half for another time and you are saving about 1/3 of the cost in some cases. Great value.
If you have pets, they also offer a nice range of pet meat that rivals most places I have been and for much lower price as well.

I can assure that you will be delighted with the service, especially from the ladies at the counter, they are so friendly and helpful.
Their key competent areas are quality and service, where you may have to pay bit extra when you compare with other places, though you will enjoy the fresh meat varieties.

Terrible customer service from James the butcher. He does not have good customer service. Don't support this place. The pre sliced meat tastes frozen and defrosted (old taste when cooked). Rather go to Heritage springs!

Great range of meats at decent prices topped off by friendly staff, great shopping experience all round.

Love the selection, love the specials, love the staff and to end things on a plus your beautiful people on the register, the New Zealand lady is so sweet and endearing, I've been to where she's from, she's super friendly. Love this place. I'd give you a higher score if I could. Keep up the great work and don't change a thing.

I go there for one reason, the woman who serves me, she's so pleasant and helpful and has alot of knowledge of what I'm asking for, I think her name is Ruth or Robin, not too sure but she has a strong Kiwi accent. Keep her, she's worth her weight in GOLD.

Excellent range. Large cuts for barbecuing and smoking. Will do custom large cuts (legs of pork for making ham) and excellent wholesale prices. Carpark can be a little tight.

Good price for quality. All staff very approachable to ask questions. Can’t think of anything negative except sometimes they run out of what I want but that’s my fault for showing up 10 minutes before closing time.

I once was a regular customer, but your poor customer service pushed me away 2 years ago to the Dandenong Market.

I stopped in on Saturday for some urgent meat, I was actually shocked to see your prices now match Coles and Woolworths. Meat range from what I saw was reduced.

So now it's overpriced, average quality meat with poor customer service.

Got scolded for not applying hand anitizer, when i caery my own and use that, Also mask exempt and again Old lady went mad, but wouldt have the courtesy to understand that it's my legal.right not to wear a mask. Will NEVER shop there again.
