Tasman Butchers Mt Waverley reviews
17The team are very contentious and always willing to help. Products are always fresh and displays are always full.
Nothing against the quality.
I'm sick and tired of being ripped off, I like my chicken breast. Tasman are set on cutting off the tender loin off, selling them for inflated prices and then have to check to over charge for what is left of the breast. That is just plain outright ripping off its customers.
I'm not happy!
This is by far one of the best value for money butchers in the south east. They have a wide range of products at a fair price.
What puts ahead of the rest is the excellent customer service. Specifically from Adam.
He was super friendly over the phone and was able to order in a variety of specialty products which aren't usually stocked. He took genuine interest in what I was cooking and was overall just a great guy. I will definitely be back! Thanks again Adam!
Great place with a good variety of meats and a great butcher shop. From meats, panettones, pasta, eggs and others, a good range of products with good prices.
Easy access and plenty of parking.
Good quality meats with a wide selection. We come here not only for our steaks, roasts, briskets, pork bellies but also the odd cuts for our dog-the chicken feet/necks/offal. Staff are always friendly and helpful
This store is reasonably good although I prefer a 3½ out of five as four and above are for exceptionally good service.
I did notice different prices per kilo for the same item.
Value for money is reasonable but I do shop elsewhere and do get a better price.
Will I return.that is a big maybe because it is out of my way as compare another store That I find much better.
I have never seen a more enthusiastic and happy bunch of staff. I walked into the Tasman Butchers at Mt Waverley and to my surprise was so warmly greeted by one of the ladies stocking the shelves. I asked if she could tell me where I could find a trolley and she offered to get it for me even though she was busy with her own job and had to go outside for it which I didn’t realise.
Then I walked up to the butchers and asked if they would be kind enough to skin a bag of Maryland that I picked up, they too offered without hesitation and such enthusiasm.
The staff there may me feel so welcome I just hung around for a while and walked out with $130 worth of meat when I just went in for a tray of mince!
It was an absolute please watching them work and interact with customers.
One thing I found could have topped their day would have been some music. That was probably the only thing that was missing which I’m sure they would appreciate and would make our shopping experience even better.
Very friendly workers and very helpful. (Albert) the manager there gave us advises how to cook a lamb shoulder in the oven, we invited our friends to eat it and all was very happy and surprised with the fantastic taste:) 10/10
This store is great. It's a small-medium shop which has everything my family needs for meat goods plus some. I buy my pastizzi from here. They also have some good quality smallgoods like bacon, salamis, csabai as well as cheeses and sauces. On occasion, I have bought bread and eggs here which are ok.
Tasmans is really good, we go every few months and buy up reasonably big. We have a chest freezer, so it's a good way to store it. The prices are always competitive and the quality of the meat is good.
Good quality mean good prices, always specials on beef. Not to mention their outstanding precautions they are making due to COVID-19.
Huge variety of affordable meats to choose, their eggs are cheap and good quality too, absolutely beats aldi and coles in terms of meat.
Came on New Year’s Eve at 6.01 all the way from Bentleigh to the Mt Waverly store called 5 minutes before yo tell I will be there within minutes but refused. So money hungry pigs. No wonder they sell meat. Extremely poor customer service.
Decent range of meats, good quality, prices not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Lost a star however for charging a fee on EFTPOS. If there was a sign I didn't see it and checkout staff should mention something to warn customers
Disappointed bought lamb curry pieces for 10.99 kg but cannot believe the amount of fat in the pack nearly half the amount.
Not a good value for money.
Being there a few times to try different cuts, so far the meat has been really nice with good prices. Most of the meat is sold in bulk tho, not sure if they can sell smaller quantities / cuts.for example I couldn’t find any pork leg roast smaller than 2kg
