Tasman Butchers Moorabbin

I really can't fault my experience at Taman Butchers Moorabbin. It seemed to have everything that I wanted, laid out in nicely organised rows.

Nice fresh meat but card payment surcharge is unreasonable even if you pay savings account. Hopefully they will change it and waive the surcharge for savings payment. I'm a regular customer but having surcharge all the time I'm not happy as all the meat price is increase.

On a general meat has gone up in price, the quality is there. The weekly special are great and competitive with other butchers, if you cannot find a certain cut they're happy to assist you.

I bought a different range of products today.
Most of them where pretty good except drumsticks that directly wend to the bin due to being very old though the expiry date was not close.
Never had such experience in other Tasman stores.

Great range and selection of meat products and cuts, that are well priced. Also stock sauces, condiments, spices frozen veggies chips, pies, wine and other things to be used for barbecue and general cooking. Most items sold are gluten free including sausages.

They have the best staff here always helpful will cut pieces for you if u ask the butchers out the back are very helpful friendly an professional.great quality meat.exceptional service

Best place to shop during these difficult times they are clean and only let a few people into the shop at one time. The ensure you anti bac your hands on the way in and the way out. Well done!

Good deals to be had here. Worth the visit if you want to do.a serious cookout with meats like beef, lamb, chicken etc. Look out for their specials

We’ve been buying our meat from Tasman Butchers Moorabbin on the weekly for about 12 months now (since we moved to Melbourne) and love the consistently high quality, friendly service, and brilliant prices for quality meat (especially the weekly specials!).

Asking for advice or a special cut from the working butchers counter has never been a problem.

It’s also freezing inside, so bring a jumper!

Haven’t been here for a long time went in today. Outstanding customer service and meat quality. Definitely be coming back again from now on.

First time I tried this place out at Moorabbin DFO on September 1, not so good prices pretty much same as full retail. All pre packs of beef cuts use by date was until 7 September (6 days) and the reduce price on all beef cuts was until 3 September (3 days) and only a few bucks taken off price. Tried looking under all packs of beef cuts and at back of fridge all have same use by dates! Bought y-bone beef cuts, meat was tuff and not flavourful. Anyone looking for fresh meat and with a longer shelf life you will not find it here!

Good range of meats clearly displayed and priced as well as some premium cuts in an ageing cabinet that you can get cut to order. We shop at various Tasmania around Melbourne and their normal prices are always competitive and when they have specials, exceptional value. We've found the quality of the meats to be very high for what you pay, much more consistent than from Coles, ALDI etc.

Good range of competitively priced beef, lamb, pork, veal, chicken and fresh and frozen turkey, as well as seafood. They also have smallgoods, specialty meats, burgers, sausages, rissoles and frozen products and grocery items like pasta, sauces, seasoning, eggs, cheese, dips, nuts and snacks, milk, fruit juices, soft drinks and water. The Christmas Bertocchi Leg of Ham on the bone looks great. Very clean store and the staff is super friendly and offers great customer service. Lots of parking but gets busy on weekends.

Not the first time I have bought meat at Moorabbin and that is the last time, what special, meat is expensive and not of quality, if you wand good meat you can do better for the same price elswhere.please people demand more for you money

What a stupid reviews here!
Brought the meat there twice and it was very nice, also reasonable price.

It's hit and miss with this place. Sometimes you get a great cut and sometimes it's tough, grisly and full of fat. We like the prepacked lamb greek roasts and 50% of the time they disappoint
