I usto buy meat from this place ten years ago, i brought it twice and both times it was of so i stopped going there, today i went there a again i brought packed fish and meat, like before the meat was of and the fish was of and tasteless, i guess some places never change never go there again.they need to close this place down.

Good quality meat. Prices have increased lately.
Service was a bit slow and it could have been cleaner.

Meat Quality has definitely improved over the years. We don't shop here too often and that's solely due to constant bad quality for years BUT that was a few years back. Generally leave Tasmans for a last option shop and the last several times we haven't had a complaint on what we purchase. Definitely have to shop here more often now to give a better review!

Freezer for pet meats way too cold and freezes the meat. I usally buy it by the box of 10 because is a huge saving but when it starts to turn after 2 days of opening makes it a total waste of my money, especially when the prices are rediculously high.
I fresh bag of roo mince normally lasts me the week for my cat but I am lucky to get 2 days out of their rotten meat!
I asked when the fridge will be fixed but the lady just shrudgged her shoulders and said, "I dunno". I asked if she could get me the manager and again, shoulders shrugged and said he is not in today. Nice attitude Tasman employees! I will NEVER shop there again! Fix your freezer!

I had a concern with a piece of meat I purchased from the Melton store. After emailing them I was contacted by Louisa very promptly and the concern was rectified. Thankyou to Louisa and the other lady in the meat department. Also the butcher who served me. Could thoughly recommend their customer service. And the replacement product was exceptional quality.

Great store. Good quality meat with excellent variety. Staff always helpful and nice. The place is a little cold (you may take a jacket:) ) but this is also a sign that the meats are kept in perfect condition of temperature. Place is extremely clean. They sell all sort of meats and also pasta (dry and filled), seafood, eggs, tomato passata, panettones, bones for dogs and other things. Ah, and the prices are really good with several specials every week. Worth a visit and to become a client.

A nice clean store, staff helpful and most times they gave what you need. No many customers this morning so inand out quickly.

Excellent butchers here. Will accommodate to whatever you want. They will cut the meat to size. Very friendly, they have a wide range of goods.

Got a good deal on some roast pork and lamb today, awesome. Freezer packed ready for the weekend.

Always has good range. Lady at the front door cashier offered to extra wrap the beef liver today I bought just to make sure it doesn't leak. Very polite and good service. Definitely treated like a person not a number. Shopping there for years and many to come. Good stuff Rhonda

The lady on the door is lovely ensuring people sanitise their hands however, such a shame the butchers behind the counter have masks under their chin and off their face talking to each other and whilst de bonding meat. Considering high risk area within the meat area in the past. Not acceptable need to lift your game Tasman meats

First time shopping here and bought chicken kievs only to be half way through eating them with my infant to find a feather inside! I've been eating chicken for 36 years and never seen this! Don't they clean or check their food? Disgusting! I'm terrified my bub will get sick. Never ever going here again. Not to mention who wants to think of the actual animal as they eat. It's like finding an eyeball or teeth. Gross! I wish I had read the salmonella comments on this thread before shopping here and I never would have, now I'm terrified.

A great butcher shop always has a large range of meat on display and the shop is set out well. The prices are competitive and the product is superior to other butchers in the area?

Not happy Jan! Paid premium price for beef mince to discover it had to be cooked to today not tomorrow, granted brought it on Friday but there should be at least a three day shelf live if your paying top dollar. Work six days a week, after completing domestic tasks on my one day off, served dinner to discover I need to cook this mince tonight or though it out tomorrow. Tacos on the menu for tomorrow night. Just wanted to sit down after cooking dinner, not start on tomorrows' night meal. Thanks. No rest for the wicked! Again not happy Jan.

You get what you pay for Their pork sausages are pretty good so is the marinated chicken bits The higher end steaks are great

Very reasonable butchery with respects to pricing. I have not come across any glued meats that other places do sell. Reconstructed meat is not my thing. Currently under new management, as at August 2018 (yet to even see the new manager, been a couple of weeks now). Friendly staff and accommodating. Has some great specials at times and when normal pricing, families on a tight budget should be able to find healthy foods here. I recommend them. These are my personal opinions, others may think differently.
