TarraWarra Museum of Art reviews
56Great venue nestled in the Yarra Valley. We went there without researching which artist was on display, worth doing beforehand. Otherwise this is a great place to go, with the added benefit of TarrawRra Estate winery metres away.
The view is amazing! Didn’t try the wine, but we did visit the museum. Tickets were $15pp, not too much to see inside, but some of the prints were pretty interesting.
The ground is lovely on a nice sunny day. The museum is very nice definitely recommend to anyone that enjoys art.
Magnificent view. There's a restaurant on top of the hill next to the museum but you can also just order a cup of coffee and enjoy the view.
I am a bit torn in between. I liked the architecture of the building and the setting, especially for an Art museum. But I didn‘t get access to the displayed art, paintings and video installations. But I am not an Art expert.
We haven't had a chance to visit when the museum opens so we can give a review regarding the external area only.
It was a great scenic spot to chill out for get away trip. The best time to visit would be around the autumn season as they have few nice areas with yellow autumn leaves plants. I guess other seasons like spring are also good with leafy pathways and a big pond in the middle.
It gives a calm and peaceful feeling when walking or sitting around in the area.
Tarrawarra museum is an excellent spot to catch an art exhibition. I've visited a few exhibitions of contemporary art and they were spectacular.
The vineyards and trees outside at Tarrawarra estate offer some stunning views especially during autumn and makes for a great spot to enjoy the peace and quiet. Sunsets here are quite picturesque. There are couple of restaurants offering food and wine tasting that makes for a perfect half day trip.
Beautiful museum with a view! Great experience with the current exhibition, can't wait to come back for the next!
Stunning gallery, beautifully curated and well placed (within a winery) …. What more could you ask for really!?
Great place to chill out and view some art. Has a cafe on the side of the complex.the main complex is onto of the hill, which has limited parking but more at the bottom of the hill. Worth a visit.
Wonderful views both inside and out, definitely worth a visit. Best to book ahead for meals in the area, particularly on weekends.
Accessibility options available or drivers can drop passengers at the entrance level before parking in carpark.
Love this art museum a lot! Amazing artworks and views, staff are very friendly. Great experience here, enjoy the scenery over some nice food and drink.
We went when it was only when it’s cloudless. The art was black and white and boring. The same pieces were showed over and over again. The building has cobwebs and a spider inside. The actual building was nice and tall with nice open windows.
Lot more than a vineyard and art gallery. Views are breathtaking and nice places to walk around. This is autumn time pics so everything looks even better.
A well designed and landscaped vineyard, restaurant and museum. The museum has rotating displays featuring different artists.
The ground is beautiful in autumn colours when I last visited. Outdoor seating on timber deck among trees with views to lily ponds, vineyard are relaxing indeed.
Atmospheric airy gallery. A bit pricey for quantity and quality of the pieces being exhibited, I felt
Friendly service, I'm not really a contemporary art type but my partner enjoyed it and the property was beautiful
Must visit when travelling to Healesville. Young couple will enjoy to get some memories with wine and dine.
Where others will definitely will have great fun around courtyard of this wonderful location.
A lovely range of exhibits in a very modern, architectural building. Nice way to spend some time chillaxing.
