Unfortunately historic and heritage listed buildings are being demolished and ugly monstrosities and skyscrapers are taking over. The old charming CBD is no longer. Fortunately Covid19 has brought some fresh air into CBD reducing to a certain degree the congestion and the horrendous gridlock traffic.

This was almost empty when we visited as it was in the process of changing from Target to K-Mart

Advertised store has stock but upon going there the place was being dismantled. Went into restricted area without realising because there were no signs indicating this was the case.

Is good though is alot different after covit.just not the same. I think the place is getting dirtier rubbish everywhere the council must do something about this. Especially at night

I always find what I need here at Target. The location is perfect. Staff know what I look for and know how to make good recommendations. Quite committed and hardworking.

Not sure this will imply as I was shopping here on Easter Sunday. A bearded checkout boy was there and I requested him to take off the tag protection off my pair of Derby Leathers after I purchased it and he just tells me to watch a video on how to do it. It beepeed outside and he didn't bother to look. Didn't seem like his first day?

Anywho, your products are top notch and I like the jeans, shoes and the business casuals you guys have.

4 stars.

Staff are very nice and polite and are very helpful too. Products are nice to buy and are not too expensive.

Modern store and the people working there were friendly but layout is bad and very lacking in range of mobile phone accessories.

Good to see the city of Melbourne bustling with people again and the shops and cafes open again after constant lockdowns let's hope it stays like this

Starting to come alive again after Covid lockdowns, at this time masks are still a thing on public transport, but the fear seems to be gone -)

Target at Melbourne CBD
Visited on 2/2/2021

No matter how good the service and how pleasant the ambience are, these make no difference to the business at present.

Melbourne CBD is almost a ghost city. There is hardly any foot traffic without office workers returning to work, and international students and visitors being banned from entry to Australia.

Several closed shops, but there are a good many ppl, a buzz, and things are being done in a Covid safe way

Great store this one, centrally located at Bourke Street tram stop, good range and great prices, quality also surprising, staff very helpful and friendly.

Not a lot of variety in products.could use more signage. Not a lot of store people to ask for help.

The place was great, most of the staff are friendly and helpful. But today I went for refund downstairs, the woman on customer service was rude and doesn't even know the target stainless steel blender is recall. She asked for receipt and bank statement over the 6 years old blender. And in the end, she didn't give the gift card as stated on news.
Overall, that woman has made target customer service unsatisfying.
Went there 14th Jan 4: 40pm.

Wow. All I can say is that in Melbourne CBD they sorta do Target a bit differently. This Target is not like any other I've visited anywhere. Very spacious and kinda funky. Liked it a lot

This store once gave me fantastic customer service when my phone broke and I urgently needed to replace it. One of the staff even let me use his phone to look up reviews of the phones they had! Ended up buying a phone on the spot and it has been great.

Place is a bit difficult to find since it is in the heart of Chinatown. However, once you get into it, there are tons of stuff sold there which are spread out in at least 3 floors. Make sure to go around to find what you'd like to find and make use of the click and collect feature beforehand to make it efficient for yourself.
