We were visiting Melbourne from Tasmania and enjoyed an excellent meal here! The food was great with fast service and the staff were so lovely and welcoming! The handmade ice cream was amazing!

Popped in here for a weeknight dinner. AMAZING pizza. The base is hand made in-front of your eyes using only the most fresh ingredients. Service is friendly, warm and welcoming. Highly recommended pizzeria!

Would you like a real Italian pizza? This is the place for you! The pizza was great, tasty and very cheesy. Fresh toppings and crunchy dough. It has been a marvelous experience! On top of that the friendly staff is what tops it off. Have a shot at it, this will not disappoint you and so won't the homemade ice cream!

Terrific no-frills local pizzeria run by a lovely Italian couple. Delicious pizza toppings on a nice thin & crispy base. Good value wine by the bottle or the glass.

My wife and I have lived in Clifton Hill for many years, but the other night we ventured out and tried the food at Del Montes. Well, what a surprise. The pizza was excellent, while the ragu was exceptional. The food is not what you expect at a pizza restaurant. It really has is that good.
And whatever you do, do not miss out on the homemade icecream. It is so smooth and the flavours are just brilliant.

A piece of Italy in Melbourne. We loved the atmosphere and our hosts, so fun and caring.
They make Roman style pizza, which is thin and crispy. We had the amatriciana, the zucchine e provola, the boscaiola and the diavola and they were all amazing, tasty but light at the same time.
We didn't get the gelato, but will definetly come back to try it because it's made on site by the owner Giusy.

Dined in and had the best potato and ham pizza ever. The accompanying salad was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing. I don't often review restaurants but the pizza was a revelation. We eat out a lot and the team at Del Monte's needs to be recognized for their efforts.

Absolutely spot on. Wonderful service and incredibly delicious food. We went with the family and everyone from the grandparents to the grandkids loved the food. Amazing pizza with a delicious crust and home made ice-cream with real flavours. We cannot wait to return.

A group of six of us went to Del Monte's tonight. All of us ordered pizzas which were a variation of what was on the menu. No problem. Pizzas arrived exactly as ordered and were delicious. Home made ice cream was a hit with the kids and a nice selection of beer and wine.

Excellent Roman-style pizza and also an excellent semi-freddo ice cream, all in a welcoming place and attentive and kind staff in perfect Italian style…. Great!

We had an amazing Roman experience with the family. If you’re looking for an authentically Roman experience run by Roman’s try here. Pizza was thin and crisp, delicious lasagna and warm friendly service. Will be back for sure.

We weren’t offered menus when we walked in, we had to ask to be given menus. They forgot our antipasto platter, when it finally came out it was very obviously filled with ingredients bought from Woolies down the road. I ordered a GF lasagna only to have them come and tell me 15 mins later that they don’t have it. Their $28 seafood marinara had seafood you would get out of a can. Total rip off. The food and service did not justify the $100 bill. Giving them one star as they seemed like a lovely family and were apologetic. Unfortunately won’t be coming back.

Stopped on our way through Melb to grab some takeaway tonight. They were lovely on the phone, our meal was ready in 10mins and the staff were super accomodating in finding me forks/napkins so we could eat on the run! Plus. Delicious!
