Tanoor Middle eastern breakfast house reviews
26The service is good, the price is not cheap but acceptable, and the decoration of the dishes is very good, but the taste needs to be modified a little. The tabbouleh contains oil, but not olive oil, and I did not feel the taste of lemon juice and salt. As for the foul dish, they were only boiled, so they need a little spice, olive oil, and lemon.
The shop was nice, the food was good, it was a bit busy and noisy there.
Nice to visit there and give it a go.
Great food
Hummos with meat was amazing
Maanish is great
Lamb was amazing equally.
Highly recommended
Worst service experience. Waited for almost 30-40 mins just to get falafel wrap. Even front desk lady was too rude and said each item take seperate time but I could clearly see even big orders in queue came after me delivered. When I ask to cancel the order, they made the wrap in 5 mins, it seems they either forgot my order or dont care of small orders.
The wrap did not taste great as it was made just to avoid their loss.
Will recommend to avoid this place at all
cost.
I never had a bad experience with any restaurant, and I don’t like to give a negative review about the food overall. But Tanoor on the weekend is one of the worst experience we had and food is cold and on top of that unnecessary explanations from the staff.
I am one of their regular customer but next time I will think twice before come.
Food is late too and missing orders - had to remind each time our items to bring them.
Has been one of the best middle eastern food outlets for a long time. It’s always crowded, so please reserve your tables before you go here. Simply delicious choice of food.
Beautiful place beautiful people very tasty food.staff take ownership which makes you want to go there again and again
Expensive (e.g 1x zatar manusheh) is $4!
Quality below average (e.g maushesh is thin, dry and not covered with adequate zatar and oil. Not sure if they use extra v olive oil. It didn't taste like they do. Maybe cheap olive oil/veg oil mix.
Falafel tastes raw, oily and not crunchy.
Clean and good atmosphere.
Good service but misses smile and personalisation.
Always enjoyed the fresh baked breads, so spoilt by all the choices there. Really a unique cafe & staff are friendly too.
The restaurant is conveniently located, have a nice ambience, wait time is not too much, food was fresh, tasty and not too pricey either.
We were so excited to try a traditional Middle Eastern breakfast for the first time! We ordered:
ꕤ? ?
- Hummus with Fool: traditional breakfast with fresh bread, hummus with fava beans and assorted pickles
- Tanoor Special: Za’atar Man’oush with avocado, cherry tomatoes, lemon & special Tanoor sauce
- Large Shanklish: delicious Man’oush Calzone with ricotta, haloumi, tomato & onion
- Lebanese Pizza: with olives, corn, haloumi & capsicum
ꕤ?
- Strong Cappuccino
- Iced Mocha
We enjoyed every single bite here! We are massive fans of their fresh bread which came out so warm and soft. It paired amazingly with the za’atar and also the hummus! We’re looking forward to coming back to try the other menu items?
The staff members were very kind and provided great service. We highly recommend this place as your next brunch spot!
This is our weekly catch-up place on breakfast with friends and family.
Service needs to improve.
Great little place for middle eastern brunch.
Tried this 1st time last long weekend and the food was simply awesome. Healthy, delicious and quite filling! I had to go home walking after the meal.
Highly recommended for a number of vegetarian options
Generous serving of food. The warm kanafeh was served with beautiful rose syrup that is not overwhelming which had a gorgeous rose hue to it, with ice cream and pistachios. The Foul Modammes was good with huge size, which I had to pack and take away! The black coffee smelled good and it has a surprisingly sweet berry-like taste to it - I enjoyed it. Will have to try other dishes with the family. It's a beautiful big open sized cafe.
Found this little gem after a very disappointing experience at a similar restaurant. Food is amazing and well priced, service was great and had good wheelchair access.
Our very first middle Eastern breakfast @tanoor_breakfast_house. When we walkin the interior, music, staffs, make you feels like you are in middle Eastern. They are so busy more than 6 front staffs excluding kitchen staffs, most importantly 90% of their customers are middle easterns (we know we are the right place for authentic cuisine)
Featured:
Lebanese Big Breakfast-
we enjoyed this and highly recommended. As my picky daughter taking her bite, she repeats 'yum.i like this' she rolled the lebanese sausage, spreaded the labne with bread.
Cheese Calzone is recommended too, check out my haloumi cheesy pull ;p
Chicken clazone
Banana strawberry Waffles
Taste: 5/5
Portions: large
Price: $-$$
The food was amazing but super filling, would recommend a “regular” size if you’re super hungry, otherwise a small (e.g hummus bi lahme) will do.
Great, authentic, full of flavour middle eastern food with great selection. Good vegan options.breads and pizza's beautifully fresh. Lots of fragrant and flavour packed sides.
This place is soooo good. Staff is very kind and the food is outstanding. Fulfilled my long due Foul craving.
This restaurant is good for breakfast as have all middle eastern dishes. The food is good taste wise but you need to order pre ahead to save wait times as they get very busy in mornings.
