14Fantastic family run business with delicious Chinese food. Has an authentic but cosy setting, and plenty of choice. Has knowledge around gluten free food, including deep frying contamination - ask to talk to Ivan:)
Cheapest fruit and vegetables in Melbourne and lots of choice. Same goes for the Meat and fish hall and the large number of fine deli shops specialising in cheeses, meats, coffee and tea cakes.it's all there. Forget the supermarket but bring you own produce bags!
Beautiful Asian cuisine! Enjoyed the wasabi soft shell crab, rendan beef and sambal prawns.
Food was nice quite large serving and reasonable yum cha pricing but mostly Lovely decor - cozy and calming. Service was very tentative and professional for a casual lunch I was quite impressed.
We loved it! Took the kids and loved the dumplings and stirfry. Lots of veggies in the stirfry as well.
Fantastic GF options.
By far the worst food ever.no quality, chicken is frozen and dry.no taste… wanted to give zero star but it doesn’t allow me to.
I really do not like giving bad reviews, but I think on this occasion the restaurant did not stack up to reviews from the other foodie review sites. The meal was not cheap, with the vegetable spring rolls oily, mostly batter, and very little filling—a long way short of our regular Asian food shop quality. The beef and vegetables had overdone vegetables, dry meat, and a watery, tasteless sauce—I couldn't eat more than a few mouthfuls. The special fried rice was passable, at best, but lacked ingredients and was overdone. An expensive meal that I did not enjoy, and could not stomach more than a quarter of the purchase. One positive—the delivery was very quick.
1.5 hours on an Uber Eats that said 25 to 30 min. Not good at all. Will never order from them again.
My husband ordered singapore noodles as part of a takeaway order. He clearly stated that the noodles were to have NO prawns or
fish cake as i am highly allergic. He reaffirmed on pickup that there
no prawns. When we opened the singapore noodles container there
were prawns! Not good enough.that thenoodles singapore noodles
This restaurant food is worst as they din put any amount of vegetables or meat in noodle via Doordash delivery to Gaurav and dumpling smelled avdvtasted bad as it looks few days old.
Had the pork dumplings and ginger chicken; really lack lustre for the price. I honestly could have (and should’ve) whipped up the same at home. Dumplings were tiny for the price and we’re sad looking. I’d probably look elsewhere.
After skimming the other reviews I am not sure why there is such. Large disconnect between what I experienced and what everyone else experienced.
I could have sworn that the dumplings were straight out of the frozen food section in the supermarket. Each course came out and it just never got any better.
The main was a stir fry and it looked like it was all boiled (including the chicken) it was, hands down, the most disappointing meal of 2019.
We hardly touched the main course, and left before desert. I generously gave them 2 stars for service and the decor.
Fantastic m family run business with delicious Chinese food. Has an authentic but cosy setting, and plenty of choice.
One of the few places in suburbia that are in the same ballpark as HuTong's for Xiao Long Bao. The seafood spring roll is also a winner.
