During the second week of our subscription we kept having issues with our internet connection. After the fourth time I ended up calling tech support. Frechie gets 5 stars for helping solve the issue by resetting our NBN connection, as I was given step by step instructions. But due to having issues so soon I’m giving a 3.5 for average, hoping we don’t have more connection issues, so I can give a 5 in the future.

The person I spoke to over the phone (sorry I forget his name!) was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining things to me. He explained things in an easy to understand way too. I am so glad Tangerine was recommended to me and am recommending it to others too!

Loved the internet service so far. Had issues with billing as paid the invoice twice. The staff was very friendly and was able to help.

Great tech support. I had a problem, called up and was connected with Kuh who was able to solve my problem within 5 minutes. Also, the download speed is pretty good to.

Swapped to these guys after having massive dropout issues and with my previous "iisp" refusing to do anything about it. The issue was resolved within 48 hours of me lodging the ticket, A+

Our service with Tangerine was fine until we needed to relocate. At every step they would just totally disregard the information we gave them. I can't even begin to explain how frustrating it has been. In the end we decided to not relocate with them and just find a new provider. We asked to have our internet cancelled in two weeks time so we could continue to work. Instead they cancelled it that day. They admitted it was an error and instead of reconnection our service they created a new service and connection for us and are sending us a new modem. It's been a total joke. Speaking to the third person in a row now, and they have said they can reconnect our existing service. The communication is appalling. A stressful moving period has been made so much worse. We have an outstanding bill and it enrages me that we still have to pay it even though the service has been woeful.

Reliable internet, friendly service. Transfered me to a new house, letting me keep the remaining days on my contract and also gave me the sign on discount for the new address.

Avoid at all costs. Do NOT be lured in by the cheaper prices or fake reviews! Unable to use with Tangerine for weeks due to them not activating my service, have been on the phone and webchat and emails for weeks without resolution. There is no communication between one Tangerine staff and another, and they don't reply to their emails promptly. Switched to another ISP and haven't looked back since.

Edit: I see the Tangerine staff have been busy writing their own positive fake reviews and didn't have time to staff their actual customer support. If you don't believe me, try calling their customer hotline and see if how long you be put on hold!

They take a long time to fix an issues. I spent two weeks at new new house after transferring over before I got internet.
6 weeks later I get billed $200 instead of $70. I rang up to get it credited, turns out they charged me for my old and new property. This got fixed and passed me onto someone else about getting my details changed over. Next minute I had no internet at all. And they try telling me it’s just the fault of their provider, nothing to do with my account and it just happened to stop during my 40 minute phone call, when I had no issues for 6 weeks.
Now we are waiting for 24-48 hours to hear from someone.
Would not recommend.

Customer service wait time is long and setup is somewhat difficult if you have BYO. When moving away, you have to talk to TWO different people to 1: cancel the service and cancel the bill. IT WON"T cancel automatically like electricity and gas. ALSO, I noticed that there is no pro rata refund for the month you moved away, so you basically need to pay an extra month. So wouldn't recommend.

First time NBN customer and Tangerine couldn't have made it any easier. Good communication right through the process including honest speed expectations. Plugged in the modem and everything worked perfectly and continues to work well

I would give less. We purchased the XL Boosted Unlimited Internet from Tangerine. Firstly, their customer service is a scarcely manned WhatsApp, it is very difficult to get any connectivity issues resolved due to this. It has been a constant 18-month struggle with Tangerine, and I still can’t get on to a human to disconnect this terrible service. Save yourself the heartache. Go for a provider that at the very least has support staff that can talk to you on the phone. Frequent connectivity issues, and now that we have put notice to terminate the contract we have only enough wifi in the house to support phones browsing, all streaming has ceased. Nightmare from start to finish.

Of the providers I researched Tangerine had the best deal going. Sign up was relatively straight forward and allowed for a request to delay connection (as I still had cable connected). While the service activation happen a little sooner than I'd planned for it was a smooth process. The NBN guy was organised and arrived when he was supposed to (no delays) and the modem arrived promptly for collection at LPO. Luckily I had an electrician onsite who knew about what cables to connect to the modem and the process for online activation. The website was user friendly and even allows for guest passwords to the modem (very cool). NBN has been working great and all devices seem happy.

I recently switched to Tangerine and have been a happy customer so far. The NBN50 plan is competitively priced and the service fast and reliable. The signup process was easy. I haven't encountered any issues and setting up with my own router has been fine.

WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I signed up one week ago, and I still have not been connected to the internet. I was told daily, for the last week that it would be connected within 24 hours. I called to cancel the service I had not even received and to get a refund and was told there system was down that handles refunds. I gave details so hopefully I will receive my refund. Absolute rubbish company. I recommend do not waste your time or money using this company. Tangerine do not even deserve one star with this rating.
