Tandoori Zone - Cheltenham reviews
46Great service and fantastic tandoori chicken! We order takeaway from here frequently. Will try the biriyani here next time
I have not had great Indian food for awhile but this place is amazing. At first I was annoyed with the time it took to prepare but it was so worth the wait. The Coconut Rice and Chicken Malabari were my standout faves. Good job, guys.
Used to live very close by. The quality here is exceptional and the dinner pack for $13.5 is outstanding value (unsure if still same price). They make naan fresh on the spot in front of you.
My kids love the butter chicken and naan. Our go to for local Indian food when cooking is a chore. Owners are friendly and welcoming
Fast and friendly service. The Briyani is so delicious and cooked upon order. I've ordered as takeaway several times and the box is always fully packed and it's a 2 meal portion for me! A variety of curries is available and you can get some lunch specials here.
This is a great place for quick tasty food. Been going for 10 years. The bread is so good I usually eat it before I get home!
A little bit expensive for simple dishes, but the flavour is good, recommend once you get the takeaway eat it as soon as possible, otherwise it will become soaking rice.
The garlic Nan was amazing, really thin and oilly, perfect taste when it's warm.
Staffs were really friendly.
Overall, this is worth trying.
Very happy to be part of tandoori zone.thanks for your service.if i have a option of 10 stars i ll give you 10
I can say one of the best place for tandoori chicken lovers very nice service owners are very nice people.amazing food and for home delivery when I received my food was still hot and affordable 5 star can wait for new products you will have in menu
Don't make the mistake of ordering this food on the Ozfoodhunter app. No only is the pricing much more than in store, but the food quality was most definitely not "restaurant pricing worthy".
Mmmm! So yummy and delicious! Food was steaming hot and freshly prepared. Not a long wait and generous portion sizes. Will be back for sure. Our new favourite take away spot!
The guy behind the counter is super friendly! My partner and I ordered the express menu for $13.20.1 or two curries you can choose with rice and naan. I had two sweet curries: butter chicken and vegetable curry. It was the best naan I ever had. They make the naan in front of you, so you know it is fresh out of the oven. We will go again today, because the naan is so good.
This is the best Indian food I have had for a while. Pleasantly suprised. Could not fault it. Read that the naan is made onsite so I am even more impressed because it was delicious!
One of the best place i have ever visited. Good services as well as delicious food. You should must visit these place if you love Indian food. Probably best in all melbourne city.
A regular customer at the Tandoori Zone, and we keep coming back because of the consistently high quality of the food and service. An absolute fav!
The beef biriyani had no taste of spices, it tasted like boiled beef in paprika water mixed into the rice I will never buy their food again waste of money
Crazy good dishes with authentic Indian flavours & friendly happy staff.just order & see for yourself.hi harro
This restaurant is located at a very feasible place in the streets of cheltenham.
Tandoori chicken and samosas like starters are tasty and meets our expectations.
If you are a BIRIYANI fan i wouldn't suggest this at all. Coz it's wet fried tomato bath with meat in it. This was the first time I've tasted a SWEET biriyani. 3 stars (2.5 precisely) for starters and excellent service and affordable rates!
If it's biriyani then may be 1/5.
Most pathetic place I have ever visited. Very rude and unprofessional staff to deal with. Food quality horrible. Would never recommend this place to anyone!
"Daddy are we going to the Indian shop tonight to see Rahul? Can I please have a mango lassie and naan bread? " - Billie, 3-yr-old regular.
Tandoori Zone gives you everything a local eatery should and much, much more. Tasty food, warm welcomes, knowledgeable cricket banter and the best chicken curry puffs I have ever had.:)
Rahul and family offer outstanding food that we just keep coming back for - every week for two years so far.:) Our staples are lamb korma and butter chicken with rice and naan (ongoing special), and we always grab an extra garlic naan and a couple of chicken curry puffs for the ride home.
'The Indian Shop' is a Charman Road gem, and should not be missed. Well, if you don't actually see it there next to the Post Office, the aroma of fresh, hot curry and rice will lure you in!
Go there just one time. And then you will go back. And then you will find yourself picking up lunch.and then dinner. Our day is Thursday. What's yours?
