We had our family function, it was great experience. The customer service by the team lead by Manvi was really exceptional. We ran into couple of issues on the night both Manvi and Sanjana went over and above to help us resolve the issues.

We were looking for Indian catering for my daughter's wedding event at Manor on High, Epping, on 9th December 2022. After reviewing leading caterers' reviews and tasting food, we decided to go with Tandoori Flames. We made the best decision as Tandoori Flames owners Dipti and Jummy are the best host who have taken total care of our needs and preferences. Dipti helped us to finalise the Canapes, entree, main, and dessert to be served to 300 attendees. Her personal care and assurance made us comfortable from day one of our dealings. The food was delicious, had a good serving size and was served precisely as per our expectations. Dipti took personal care of this event and managed the catering herself to ensure that five-course meals were prepared with quality and served on time to the guests. She ensured food was quickly replenished and regularly checked with us if everything was going well. All our guests highly praised the food and catering team. I highly recommend Tandoori Flames to everyone and express my sincere thanks to Dipti, Jimmy and their catering team.

Not as good as used to be.
No more free papadam. Ordered a tandorii chicken and the meat was so dry.

Worst ordering experience. No lamb or beef options on the website so I try calling the restaurant to ask why. Go through a hideous IVR system to select 2 to call the restaurant. No-one answers. Called back multiple times. Even tried the other two options hoping to speak with someone but get repeated messages about catering. Eight calls in total and can't get through to anyone. Gave up and went elsewhere, it shouldn't be this hard if you want business.

We were there for menu tasting for an upcoming function. Food was great and the service was evwn better. Neha is an absolute rockstar. She was well educated on the menu and looked after our table and the entire restaurant very well.

Used to be a very nice place to eat. Had so much fun there. This place reminds me of the past good memories I had with lovely people.
Used to visit alot till 2017.

Had a recent visit after 5 years.
The place is not hygenic at all.
Carpet needs proper cleaning.
Place doesn't look so clean. Management needs to spend money on it to attract good crowd.

Bathrooms were horrible!
This place required rennovation to attract good customers. Lets not talk about Mens toilet where we take a piss.
Not that tidy or appealing enough anymore sadly!

Food was good but lost a bit of level.
Staff is friendly and nice. Would not complaint about the staff as they were working really hard and co operating well even during the busy times.

The name "Tandoori flame" was super popular to majority of Indian migrants 5-8 years ago.
They maintained it really well.

No need to play dj so freakin loud. People still can dance without being overly loud music. Louder and sharper than the clubs and disco with such poor quality.

Won't go there anymore.
I'm hoping you can still change my mind.
Will try again for sure but not so soon.

Tandoori flame is one of the best restaurant for hosting parties. We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday and it was a great experience. A spacious hall for hosting 70 - 80 guests with delicious food and dance floor.

We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday at Tandoori Flames and it was a grand success. Deepti was fantastic in helping with the event management and very responsive. The food was great and so was the ambience in the restaurant. Our guests totally enjoyed it. DJ set up was cherry in top. The restaurant's staff was very helpful throughout the event. We would highly recommend Tandoori Flames for special celebrations.

We were around area and found very good reviews of the restaurant so we thought to have dinner here. Starting with customer service we were really impressed with the professionalism of the staff. We ordered starters and they were good. When came to main course it was complete disappointment. We ordered Daal and malai kofta daal was served without salt as Punjabi we usually have high expectations from daal but it was not at all good. Malai kofta was average. Usually we are against food wastage but it was first time we couldn’t able to take away this curries. I think this place is more famous for events and functions.

Decent food but the night was completely ruined when the DJ for a private birthday party started playing really loud music to the point where none of us could hear ourselves talking. It wasn't communicated that there will be a birthday party with private DJ as we would have reconsidered our options. There seems to be only one girl working and she did her best to ask the DJ to lower the volume but it still wasn't a pleasant environment. It really felt like a nightclub with really bad sound system. Felt that the level of volume and bass was very unnecessary for such a small space and everyone at the birthday party weren't even on the dance floor as they were all eating.

We recently had our wedding at Tandoori Flames and the food, service and venue was excellent. We had the vegan options and it was beyond expectations. Even the carnivores we're exceedingly impressed by the quality and the flavour. Everyone was left feeling very satisfied and there were some even willing to go back to the restaurant after, even though they live on the other side of town! We couldn't have asked for anything better. We highly recommend this place for any events, or even a great dinner. All expectations exceeded.

I love the food, but it’s a shame because this place made my father and I wait an hour just for them to cancel our order.

Tandoori flames - always flaming with the urge to create memories for you and your loved ones. We had our baby shower with about 35 guests on 17th August. Splendid venue, good ambience and food that will leave your palette wanting more. Deepti (owner) co-ordinated well and gave some great suggestions for the menu to cater for a good mix of Aussie and Indian crowd. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves for the Sunday afternoon. The staff was pleasant to deal with and kept updating you about food being ready and refills required. Seating is well placed with plenty of place for the dance floor and party games. All this at a reasonable price that won’t leave dent your pocket (especially during post covid phase). All in all a great experience for me and my guests. Would 100% recommend it for your next party.

Customer service says everything about the place. A friend highly recommended this place for staff Christmas party so I made the reservation and after confirmation sent out the invites to all staff. I was planning to book it for my daughter’s 21st next year so this would have be a trial for that too)
Next day I got a call from a very rude “Neha” who wasn’t not a bit apologetic and blamed the manager for not writing another booking in the book. I requested her and told her my predicament but she was so rude and when I requested to talk to any manager/owner (7: 45pm on Friday evening) she said there was no one and they had finished early and gone home. No offer to get them to call back, no apology. I don’t think I’d even wanna try their food.
There are many places that have good food but customer service is as important and customer reviews make a huge difference. Definitely will not recommend them.
Unfortunately they don’t have a minus rating or if give them -10. I’d think hard if I’d like to keep such a rude and unprofessional staff!
