Tandara Caravan Park reviews
21Rang up to enquire about accomodation……. Lady who answered was very abrupt, and not friendly at all…. Was told only spot she WOULD GIVE was a site with ensuite…. Just wanted a spot for a small slide on camper which has its own shower and toilet on board… ….
Called to make booking for powered site for solid slide-on for a while, whilst working in the valley.
Have toilet and shower, but their "rule" is to put me on an on suite site, for whatever reason with a maximum stay of 28 days.
We've travelled this Country in a caravan for 11 years previously, but the way I was treated on the phone was one of the worst.
2 Stars for at least answering the phone
No pool, no bbq, basketball courts closed, park was empty except for a group of loud partiers, not impressed. Ensuite site was dirty
Wifi doesn't work. The place can be very noise sometimes especially if you are next to their construction sites.
Noisy. Not the best place for resting and relax. Lots of hidden fees. Wifi doesn't work. None of the facilities stated on the website were available.
Recently stayed at a Powered site for 4 nights. However, when booking this, we were not informed time of the booking that the brand new Campers kitchen was NOT in use, nor the swimming pool, and nor the recreation room. Also they are building new cabins, which we were right in the guts of, so trades working hard from 7am - 3pm. Staff were nice. However, if they'd informed us of this when booking, we would not have stayed there.
Clean and reasonable, powered site with ensuite was $45. The grass needed mowing, but that's nothing to worry about.
Clean, tidy, and modern cabins. The only let-down was that the WiFi did not work and the entire caravan park is essentially a cellular dead zone. If you are staying here for work, then this is a signficant barrier to getting any productivity accomplished.
I stayed there for 5 wks. I Thought $270 per week was expensive considering all facilities were closed because of covid except the laundry. I had a powered site with ensuite
Our cabin (110) look like new. It was super clean and and really well maintained and comfortable. Thanks for a great night.
Was looking at staying there to have close access to the hospital. Office closed and calls just went to answering machine. This would have been perfect but just not sure what happened.
Nice caravan park, quite big nice size sites, ensuite sites as well, dog friendly and lovely friendly staff.
Great Cabins, clean & with all thats needed. Ill never work out why folk tow their huge caravans to the park when for $105 a night a nice clean a/c Cabin is waiting for you
Great caravan park. My cabin was lovely and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
All new cabins very clean and spacious enough for staying in overnight.
Park managers very pleasant to talk to.
And if needed right next door to the hospital.
I believe the hospital now owns the park.
Great place to stay with great facilities available. Good to stay if ya working down here. With the family or need to go to the hospital. Has a great pool with nice barbecue area. And the rooms are very nice
Absolutely exceptional service from Ian and Irene the camper trailer site was perfect and shower facilities where new and spotless and park was so quite and clean. Thank you so much Tim & Kerry.
Amenities were good but location is terrible. Between the hospital and the airport, right next to the highway. Don't expect a good night's sleep.
The manager's are wonderful people and looked after us. The park is very quiet and 2as great for our stay.
