Great food, great service. Yellow curry was excellent!
Shame it's such a small shop with limited seating.recommend booking ahead.
Can be a bit loud inside when it's full.

Had takeaway only, picked up. Their portion is generous, they really filled the containers full. Had coconut rice, pork red curry and beef pad thai. My first impression is while they are very generous with portion and there were lots of vegetables in their curry, I cant say it’s the tastiest Thai foods I have had. Funny enough the next day when we had the leftover, it tasted better to me. Overall good value but somehow tastes better the next day?

We've been going there for 15 years. The last 6 months have been poor.
The phone order got lost time before last.
This time the waitress was rude on the phone, and didn't check our order had been made up and was in the tub. We waited, and waited, till someone else came out to find it for us.
We will look for an alternative.

We had a take away dinner & it was really nice. Big serves & full of the beef & chicken we ordered. Tasty as & plenty left over for smoko the next day.

Was great food, cute little place, family run business, owners are lovely. One of the best Thai places in the hills.

Food very average. Delivery driver left food on our stairs with no notification of delivery so it was cold. Restaurant said they can’t do anything.

Tamarind Thai Cuisine in Upwey is a little restaurant with a generous range on the menu. The dishes we had here (pictured) didn't taste anything like food you would have in Thailand which was disappointing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Service was pretty quick and the serving size is generous.

Food here is great and we have been getting take away here for over 10 years. But often they won’t let you pay by eftpos and instead only let you pay with cash. If you don’t have cash they suggest walking down a few shops to the ATM and returning with cash. It is beyond frustrating to get there only to be told they are only taking cash that night. Please stop doing this Tamarind Thai as it only pushes loyal, long time customers to go elsewhere.

Shocking service, lost our order and had to wait over 90 minutes for them to sort it out.
Still made us pay full price and still forgot to cook some of our dishes

The tastiest Thai I’ve found in the hills so far. Really good service & takeaway too. The Penang curry is soooo tasty, pad Thai is a knockout too - everything is very tasty and has loads of flavour.

Really nice little Thai place in Upwey. Restaurant was very accommodating to our birthday party and the pre-dinner setup

Was once great but the quality has dropped severly. Massaman beef curry was more like undercooked potatoe curry. Over all a very disappointing meal.

Lovely quaint restaurant in upwey.the wonton parcels were divine, my partner ordered the wok fried beef and vegetables in oyster sauce and the flavors were gorgeous, the beef melted in the mouth. I highly recommend the prawn pad thai, one of the best Ive had.nice ambiance and fresh produce made our meals an absolute treat and delight to the tastebuds

One of our favourite local restaurants. Good fresh Thai dishes & Thai beer. Great atmosphere.

Very nice food, the prices charged different than menu, and corkage needs to be watched, but food and service very good.

Had dinner with a few friends and service was very friendly. Food was great and price was good.

Good quality food. The Curry’s were absolutely beautiful. The customer service was spectacular - the girls were wonderful and friendly.

That was the yummiest Thai I’ve had in ages. Friendly and quick service. Will definitely be going back.
