Wonderful experience!

We booked our family from overseas into Tallawarra for 5 days.
Booking was a seamless experience, and all our questions were easily answered. We were even welcomed to have a tour of the accomodation before their arrival.

Our relatives were blown away with the stunning home and property.
The hosts are kind, attentive and made our family’s stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble.
Wildlife out every window, a freshly prepared breakfast each morning and spotless clean facilities.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this incredible gem, in beautiful Tonimbuk.

Andrey & Janine are such amazing hosts that go above and beyond for everyone 110%.
Their home is very welcoming and full of awesome character… A true gem in Tonimbuk… Truly a privilege to be able to stay there.
The rooms are luxurious… Beds are very comfy. Great cooked breakfast along with native wildlife roaming the property.an awesome site to see.

What a beautiful place Tallawarra Homestead is! After a hectic few weeks leading up to Henry’s 70th birthday celebrations, he decided we should treat ourselves to a couple of nights of absolutely luxurious accomodation. The attention to detail in the decor is the best I’ve seen. From relaxing in the Reading room, delicious breakfast served in the dining room, watching the Kangoos out the back, enjoying Janine’s yummy homemade scones for afternoon tea to sipping champagne in front of a cosy open fire served by Andrew - we enjoyed every minute. Our very welcoming hosts Andrew and Janine did everything to make us feel welcome and very cared for. Our aim was to just relax - and we did. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tallawarra Homestead. Andrey and Janine have created a stunning place to stay and filled their beautiful 5 star home full of interesting treasures, each one having its own story but simultaneously maintaining the' home away from home' environment.
On arrival we were greeted by our friendly and helpful hosts Andrey and Janine. They are passionate about their home and providing the best service possible to make their guests’ stay the best it could be. They certainly achieved this and even surpassed our expectations.
The rooms were well appointed, private and impeccably clean with the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The port, fruit and chocolates which were provided were a lovely welcoming touch.
Andrey and Janine went out of their way to help us in any way possible during our weekend stay, preparing a delicious cooked breakfast for an early start to the day, making dinner reservations for us and even loaning me a raincoat during a downpour of rain.

Tallawarra Homestead is certainly an exceptional location providing a fabulous getaway experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is staying in the area. We will certainly be staying there again on our next visit.

Me and my bf had an amazing two-day stay here and we have to say we loooooove this place so much. Andrey and Janine are so nice and friendly, having done everything they could to make us comfortable and happy!

The home is decorated in an English style and there are so many things to explore from books to decorations, from board games to wood fireplace … make the place so vivid and fun instead of we just going into the room and sleep!

Breakfast were customised for us and it tasted really nice. Scones are the best of the best and thanks Janine for bringing it to my life - best scone I have ever had:) Please try this if you have time with the afternoon tea and jam!

I am grateful for this stay and truly touched by Andrey and Janine for their passion and dedication. Will def come back when we have time?

The best B&B my partner and I have ever stayed. The hosts have a true passion to ensure that every part of the guests stay is perfect. From the luxurious accommodation to all the small touches that make this the ideal spot for time away. This will be the go to holiday destination when I am needing a break from the city.

Andrey and Janine were exceptional hosts and I loved the the hospitality, ambience and tranquility of the place. Janine's scones and breakfast and reading the book by the fire that Andrey kept going for me made me feel very much looked after and very relaxed. The place is extremely clean, well-decorated with lots of thoughtful touches and areas to rest and read. Very peaceful and quiet. I would love to come back?

The cutest and most relaxing accomodation I have ever stayed at! Great vibe and the hosts really have thought of everything! I would often go to mornington or torquay for a weekend away but sooo glad we ventured here instead. 10/10 relaxing! Already looking at booking another say here ASAP!

Tallawarra homestead offers an exceptional getaway, a relaxing experience away from city life with endless experience of hospitality. The luxurious home, the astounding farm surrounding the property, the beautiful rooms, extremely comfy beds and pillows, complementary flowers, plate of fruit, port and chocolate, were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The satisfying choices for breakfast, and the homemade scones and jam for afternoon tea, make your taste buds dance with joy. What makes this place exceptional though is the lovely hosts, Janine and Andrey, who put their hearts and souls to ensure that we were well looked after. Their extraordinary attention to our comfort made us feel absolutely pampered from the moment we arrived till the moment they bid us goodbye. The glimpse of a shared life of integrity, passion, kindness and generosity, one sensed during the short chats with them as they approached us to check on us or to offer another complementary surprise of a snack, a drink or a tea-light, were truly heart warming! Thank you so much Andrey and Janine for a memorable stay at your homestead!

5 out of 5 on all fronts. Tallawarra Homestead is so much more than just a bed and breakfast. Our two nights there were such a gift and we enjoyed every moment there.

Janine and Andrey are such beautiful souls and treated us so kindly. A lot of thought was put into the rooms, our experience - from the lovely breakfast choices (We ate heartily at breakfast and afternoon tea), to the comfortable rooms with amenities (including little gifts of port wine, chocolate, and fruit). The rooms were so so so comfortable that we were struggling to get out of bed for breakfast!

Andrey and Janine greeted us every morning with wide smiles and were ever so thoughtful, giving us bottles of water to keep us hydrated during our West Gippsland exploratory trips. We were able to take cool evening walks around the compound and even managed to see kangaroos and bunnies! Our evenings were spent at the bar, chatting with the both of them over the 'Andrey specials', The Tallawarra cocktail, something you absolutely must try. When we checked out, we were given bouquets of fresh flowers from their garden. (What a surprise!)

Perfect for an escape from the city life. Beautiful clean rooms with luxurious linen and amenities. Janine's home made scones and jams are the best we ever had. Beautifully set up table with home cooked fabulous breakfast, plunger coffee, pot of tea and juice. Lactose free milk will be provided if you are lactose in tolerance. Thank you Janine and Andrey for the first class hospitality. You really made us feel home and thank you for the beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. You guys really touched our hearts. Our stay at Tallawarra Homestead was lovely. Andrey and Janine were wonderful hosts. As soon as we walked in to the house we knew we were going to enjoy our weekend. Both made us feel so welcome. Janines scones were delicious as were the breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble. The homestead was so well presented and so clean. Bedrooms lovely and bed so comfortable. This place is an absolute gem! Located conveniently 10 minutes off the M1, this is the perfect home base for exploring Gippsland. The property is beautiful and well equipped, with sights of Kangaroos, birds and other animals. Janine and Andrey were amazing hosts, took care of all our requests and made us feel indulged cared for. We had our afternoon tea every day with Janine's perfect scones.

We had a wonderful stay at Tallawarra Homestead. Jannie and Andrey are so kind and friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. This is one of those experiences that we will never forget. Room was so clean, breakfast and afternoon tea was awesome and the area is so peaceful and perfect for a peaceful and relaxing escape from the hustle of the city. Timeless elegance in a relaxing setting on the rolling hills of the southeast.

We spent a weekend away here and it lived up to its reputation of being a fine hotel. The views from the premier suite were spectacular. We loved having a calm, very scenic and tranquil atmosphere in which to wind down from the busy urban life. The suite was ample size, the bed super comfy with luxe linens, the bathroom had nice fixtures, lux towels and top of the line toiletries. We had breakfasts and homemade scones for afternoon tea and selection and quality was very much appreciated. Looking so forward to going back, it is the perfect weekend getaway.

Tallawarra hosts were excellent - Andrey and Janine made us feel so warm and everything go smoothly when we arrived and departed. Their hospitality was one of best parts of staying at the Tallawarra, very thoughtful and caring to insure that we were enjoying your stay.
