Delicious Israeli food. We had the minced lamb skewer platter that comes with 3 salads, hummus and baba ganoush. We also got some falafel.

SO MUCH better than anticipated! The place itself is really homely:) The portions are hugeeee, and incredibly yummy - would definitely recommend. The service is also exceptional - shout out to Matthew for the kind service (you could tell the above and beyond service for every customer that walked in) thank you:)

Talk of the Town exceeded my expectations in every way: lovely staff provided exceptional service, and their commitment to hygiene was impressive. The Mediterranean cuisine was a delightful surprise, with flavors that transported me to far-off places. Amazing authentic Middle Eastern food. We had dips, Dolmades, and salad plates- which had a great variety. Everything was so yummy! Would highly recommend!

Me and my partner shared a Lamb Plate with tabouli, lentil rice, eggplant walnut, tahine and hummus. Everything was delicious, very flavorful and fresh. The portion was very generous and service was absolutely lovely. We’ll definitely come back to try the other dishes.

My absolute favourite takeaway in Elsternwick! Talk of the Town have a huge variety of salads, dips, meats and meals. They have great service, great food and deliver on their amazing quality meals every time!

Had a staff dinner for 9 on Saturday and the cost of $680! The food was very average and I feel we were taken advantage of being a group. We were not provided with an itemised bill despite several requests. $680 is an ABSURD amount of money for a few dips, some store bought pitta bread, a couple of plates of skewers and rice. Two small plates of dessert (coconut ice, fudge), tea and coffee (which we didn't want). Will NEVER eat there again!

I ate the chicken and got food poisoning, it wasn’t even good chicken, the food is bland and incredibly basic for its price tag, I’d recommend getting something from the gas station instead

I’ve been coming here for over 30 years and it’s hands down the best middle eastern food in Melbourne. The lamb shish kebab, falafel and salads are amazing. Do yourself a favour and try it!

Food was average at best & very expensive. Service was not attentive. Pay attention to your customers instead of ignoring them.

I should’ve read the bad reviews before going. I went because I saw the 4.5 star rating but didn’t bother reading. I spent $53 for one meal (rice, salad, yoghurt dip, beans and two Yes only two small chicken skewers) and a one just one meatball thingy. Ripped off is an understatement. The food wasn’t fresh and something smelt off but my daughter and I ate it anyway. Big mistake! We were sick for two days! I don’t know how long the food had been sitting out and I’m so upset and angry at the waste of money.

We where looking for something new and this place was perfect, I have had Lebanese food before, but the flavours of this restaurant where beyond of my expectations, the texture of every bite was perfect. The owner is the one in charge of everything and your can see that he love his business in the way he treat the food he create and his customers

We really enjoyed our dinner at Talk of the Town last week.
The food is delicious, the serves are enormous, the service is amazing!
Their main plates can easily satisfy 2 adults. We shared and still had plenty of left overs to take home. We will definitely come back

My picks are the falafel, stuffed capsicums and mixed meat plate (comes with 3 salads, 2 dips and pita). You can't go wrong with any of the salads or dips. I always look forward to coming here.

Food is always super fresh and absolutely delicious. Had such a great experience today with the young guy who served me - left feeling so chuffed at his lovely manner and generous attitude. Have loved their food for many years. Next time you are passing, do yourself a favor and try their food, you will be back again and again.

The moment I entered I had flashbacks of the years I spent in Tel Aviv with my late wife Aruna, the food was incredible and the owner very generous giving us 2 free salads and a free potato top up with our doggy bag. Best food in Melbourne

EPIC! Sooooo delicious and so many vegan option and gluten free options. I had the falafels and salad, it’s a huge serving but then you have lunch for the next day.
