To put simply, Chris is a wealth of knowledge and skips past all the other typical sales people nonsense. He will help you out even if it doesn’t involve a sale and is very honest at all times.

Chris has a great knowledge of coffee and everything related to coffee. It’s a one stop shop for beans and machines. Postage of beans is always very fast and handy. I also like to call in for a taste of what’s on offer and a look at what’s new in the shop. Wayne.

I have been a customer of Talk Coffee for 17 years. During that time I have bought two espresso machines (an ECM Giotto and and a full plumbed Alex Duetto), two grinders, and various accessories. I have also had both machines and the grinders serviced by Talk Coffee.

I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and service that Chris and his staff provide. I would not consider buying a machine or a grinder anywhere else.

A long overdue review. Chris at Talk Coffee has been my go to haven to indulge my caffeine proclivities, equipment and get advice for a few years now, after he resurrected a much loved but inexpertly maintained Expobar office single group HX. After much patience, advice and testing out kit on the Talk Coffee demo bench Chris deftly and knowledgeably guided my upgrade to an Izzo Alex duetto and Etzmax light-w combo which has been nothing short of life-affirming. With a weekly drop of expertly-roasted single origins (often surprising always interesting) and a generosity of sharing deep knowledge of all things coffee Talk Coffee is the place to go.

Thanks Chris for your friendly helpful advice and for keeping our coffee machine and grinder tiptop and always working perfectly. Its good to know your there whenever our equipment is ready for its next service.

What Chris doesn't know about coffee machines is not worth knowing. My 13 year old Giotto keeps running like brand new thanks to him.

Great service and seriously the best coffee beans to use in our Rocket grinder and machine. Tried many other “famous” Melbournian coffee roasters, but nothing beats the Shed Shandy blend (my personal favourite). We’re about to purchase our next 2 kg lot and love the fast delivery service.
