Take 5 School of Music

We have had a fantastic experience with Take 5. Kane is easily the best teacher my daughter has ever had. He is very patient and has shown her the right techniques to help her get the most out of her lessons. She really looks forward to learning new things each week. It's great to see her with a renewed motivation and love for music. Thanks also to Pino for his kindness and flexibility arranging the lessons. Highly recommend.

Not only is Pino a terrible teacher, he kept leaving the room and looking at his phone - DURING the lesson! He also acted like I was burden for being there, even though I was paying him! Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere - this dude sucks! I wish I could get my money back, he was more than happy to take it though.don't pay this guy! You will regret it.

Would give more if I could. I started with Pino as a total novice. I was so scared of going in I actually almost pulled out! Had never sung before but was always curious - it was a buck list thing and I found I had the time as I had moved to the beach for a stint. I found Pino to be an amazing teacher, he was supportive yet also pushed me. Very encouraging - great energy and had great music taste so I could sing songs that suited my voice yet I also liked. I found vast improvement in my range and style and confidence once I did his techniques and the scales, it was really one of the most enjoyable things I've ever done. I have moved back to Melbs but am still singing. He is a fabulous teacher and if you are thinking about it you should do it! The rewards are huge, thanks for the fun Pino!

My boys have learnt guitar and drums with Pino for 5 years plus, and I was so impressed I started guitar lessons at the age of 46. It's been fantastic - best thing I've ever done. Pino is a talented musician and a patient teacher - I never thought I'd get this far. His teaching spaces are great - love the band room - and Pino always makes it a comfortable and supportive place to be. Highly recommended!

I have been learning guitar with Pino for 5 years, and both my girls have had drum lessons with him as well. Pino is incredibly talented, creative and always so so patient!
Always on time, well organised, very professional, and connects beautifully with children of all ages. Lessons are always two way and fun. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A wonderful teacher.
