Taj On High Indian Restaurant Epping reviews
82 I ordered fish tikka masala today, I got a horrible looking dish, full of oil what a shame, common guys, either learn how to cook or shut the business (simple is that)
Definitely 0 star
After a dinner I asked for tax invoice and paid cash. I got a BILL with no ABN or GST on the total. A week later went to get the tax invoice, the lady at the reception was rude enough to apologies and correct her mistake or deliberate action. Kept saying you asked for bill. Being a trades person, tax invoice is what I always asks.
Avoid paying cash and check the tax invoice before you leave.
Foods are excellent and very nice here. It is the best in Epping.
Highly recommended the lamb korma.
While ordering, it was mentioning 4 samosas but we were given only two.
Overall food was good.
Food was amazing, but the music was very noisy and blasting music thats isnt suitible to a restaurant it felt more like a concert, the music should be relaxing indian music. But overall good experience
I ordered food from this gem of a restaurant yesterday and it got delivered fast, hot and tasty. Especially the breads were made amazingly fresh and not a single burnt mark. In the past few months, I have had some really bad experiences with burnt breads (naan’s and roti’s) from other food places. My compliments to the chef and especially the person making the breads. Keep it up guys and I might have just become a regular customer of yours.
I've never been here before. But the lay out and the seating, the waitress was lovely and food was absolutely amazing. I will be back with friends
Food is delicious, great staff service and a variety of different options on the menu and most of the important wonderful thing is ubereat service is very fast.
I had biryani here. The rice was flavourless and the meat wasn't the best. It looked as if they just used coloured rice. Other times when i ordered online, I got curry with rice and something else (i can't remember) The rice, again, was flavourless. The curry tasted watered down. It's an ok place but i probably wont be dining in again - i will order on line though.
EDIT:
When i went there there was a group of white people saying weird stuff and kept disturbing me and my family.it was very annoying and my friend said pretty much the same thing happened to him when he went there.
EDIT 2:
this guy also says the biryani had no flavour:
Suseela Parameswaran
Very bad food. Briyani no flavour. Panneer tikka - very big piece of capsicum d onion which covers the space to reduce the gravy. Chef special chicken tasteless. Totally waste of money. One star given otherwise I can't post my comment.
Nice food, great service. Relaxing.
Closed very earlier than listed time. Closed at 8.45PM
I really like the ambiance. Ofcourse food is amazing and delicious. Staff is really cooperative.
Most important Toilet we filthy like worse than public toilets
Food were on but portions was reduced to half and prices were increased
Taste was ok but did order tomatoe sound it taste like Coles tin soup
Would not go back and never recommend to anybody
I wish I could rate their food but as soon as me and my husband entered the restaurant the lighting and the smell (foul) put me off.
I would have liked to taste the food but the restaurant owner should work on the overall ambiance of this place. Very dingy.
Very rude and helpful staff. Ordered online never received order but was charge. Do not recommend.
My family and I went for dinner here and it was amazing! The staff were very welcoming; especially the lady who greeted us when we entered. We were advised to scan the provided QR code for the menu and quickly ordered our dinner. We first ordered some masala chai which was good! Made me feel like I'm right back at home in Fiji. My family really enjoyed their food, while I enjoyed the Mango chicken and cheese Naan that I ordered for myself! Restaurant was clean and very accommodating. Will definitely come back here if we visit Melbourne again?
We picked this restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary with guest list of 30+.
Raman and Mahi were on the floor from restaurant to help and serve us.
They were super flexible with us to come a day early for decoration and made our big logistics list down with few early tick offs. Who will not want to complete few errands early and not leave everything for the last dayn
, isnt it.
Lets talk about most important part i.e Food:)
Food was jusssst amazingly fresh and full of aroma and flavours.
Amritsari fish & chicken tikka were the winners from starters. Vegetarian guests loved panner sizzler, veg manchurian and chat papdi.
Staff is very polite and eager to help.
Will certainly host another party here again & recommend it to others.
Biiig thanks Raman & Mahi again.
I love to go over there, i also do uber eats always from there, there are so many varieties of food for vegetarian and non- vege Person. My all time favorite is samosa chaat and paneer aloo tikki chaat. There is a girl whose name is raman she's so nice and helpful. She always guide me in tasting in new dishes. Thank you Taj on high for serving people this much good.
Was told to try this restaurant on my next trip to Epping, I’m so glad I did. I ordered a recommendation from the server the chicken taj special and asked for it hot some plain rice and a garlic nan bread. I should of ordered a plain nan too to scoop up the rest of the curry. The food came pretty fast the clientele were all Indians so I knew I was onto a good thing here. The food was really authentic and tasty. Washed it down with an Indian beer called kingfisher. I would highly recommend trying this one out. I was a little sad that there was a large fire at one of the nearby shops so closed this place down for the last 2 nights of my stay in Epping. Love Indian try taj on high
I’ll start off by saying I’ve been to little Indian restaurants but Taj on High I really did enjoy the food, the only reason why the restaurant lost 2 stars, we’re that the seats were uncomfortable and we asked for the spiciest spicy food and we did not believe it was their spiciest option which was disappointing. However we did enjoy the food that we got and will return here and order through Uber eats to our home which we have before. A special shout out to their paneer stuffed naan and garlic roti which was delicious!
I'm a student & was not having a job at that time. I have visited the restaurant to have some food whichever the cheapest (in rice). I've ordered Zeera rice, to my surprise the girl named Raman she brought rice along with butter Naan and some curry (I don't know the name). They didn't charged a single cent for me. I'm very much thankful to have such good people overseas. Thankyou so much @Taj on High I won't forget this day of my life.
