Taco Plus Geelong West reviews
24Paid $20 for nachos that I could have made myself at home. Hardly any cheese and it was rock hard when it arrived. Very disappointed.
Ate here at lunch time on a Saturday, there were no people but the staff were so nice the food came quickly and was amazing. I ordered takeaway burritos for my freezer. Highly recommend
The worst tacos and nachos we have ever had, almost no cheese on the nachos, beef is seasoned pulled beef that had too much liquid/juice and chunks of fat throughout.
I’ve been there a few times before and can say there will be a lot more. Food is delicious and price worthy (don’t forget to talk to chef if you have any particular customisations in your mind, you won’t be disappointed). Staff and chef are amazing and very friendly. Sitting area is cozy with a good view of Pakington st. It’s a MUST try!
CHOOSE ELSEWHERE.
When this restaurant first opened, they cared about quality and service. Not any longer. Plenty of better choices around Pakington street.
They have messed up 100% of my delivery orders.
Nachos were cold and stuck together making it an absolute mission to eat, the large size was also disappointing for $17. Hard taco shells were stale and enchilada was cold. Sadly not a good experience
Absolutely love this place, I work locally so it’s always a treat to come in here once a week or so for a little treat. The food is delicious and cooked fresh and quickly. The Girls working at the front are extremely lovely and I fear they might actually be remembering my order by heart now, but as long as they keep making delicious food I’ll keep coming back
Took a very long time to acknowledge me at the front even after ringing the bell, no apology when they eventually came out.
The food was lovely so that was a plus.
After paying over $30, I heard Chef Mike (the microwave) go off 8 times while I was there. Everything was clearly microwaved from frozen and cobbled together. The staff were rude and the food was terrible. The only good thing was the Jarrito drink, probably because it goes in the fridge and not the microwave.
Can't wait until their lease runs out and something actually edible is there instead.
Disappointing food
If you go on Tuesdays, they have a taco Tuesday special (2 tacos for $10). I ordered a beef taco, chicken taco and two fish tacos. The meat was juicy and succulent, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. You also get the choice of either hard or soft shell tacos.
Very nice Mexican food (and so hard to find good Mexican food!) Very friendly staff and quick service Thanks, we'll be back!
Liked the beef tacos but the hard shells were a little chewy and could've been heated up would've been awesome otherwise
Taco Plus is my fresh experience of Mexican food, what a pitty I forgot to take photos of what I had tonight.
I ordered one soft Taco and hard Taco with chicken, and a toasted pancake with chicken, delicious. Highly recommended.
Best Mexican food I ever had! The best in Geelong. A must try! Affordable price and good quality and very friendly staff! Love it!
Definitely lives up to the reviews, best Mexican ever and brilliant service. Highly recommend the jalapeno poppers and taquitos
Terrible! The staff couldn’t pronounce the Mexican menu items and were unable to answer simple questions. We ordered a range of melas, but were disappointed, as every item was missing ingredients, making them utterly flavourless and boring looking. A ‘fully loaded’ vegetarian nachos was just cold canned refried beans and cheese with corn chips. Don’t bother!
What a yummy surprise! A surprise indeed. Delicious Mexican food. Cooked in a flash for only a little cash. Reminds me of a delicious Mexican food truck at Venice Beach. Second visit and is my favourite eatery on Pako. Highly recommend.
Good food but its a bit overpriced. They also did not serve tap water which is a bit strange for any restaurant, never experienced that before. I’d say it’s good Mexican food but I wouldn’t return.
Probably the food can be good. But with the delivery i had a terrible experience. After 1 hour or more waiting, the food reached here cold. The cheese in the nachos was cold and worked like a glue. The nachos were all stuck toghether and impossibile to eat. I hope you guys can fix this problem with a delivery packaging or whatelse i don't know.
