Taco Bill - Boronia

Unfortunately Taco Bills Boronia has lost its way, since being taken over. Once upon a time it was a thriving business and sometimes you couldnt get in because it was so busy, the food no longer has the wow factor and half price Tuesdays i had to pay full price and told that no it longer exists. My family have supported the business for over 20 years and as of last night will not be returning again. Sad to see what a great dining experiance that it was gone and we believe it will probally never return.

Good discounts on the menu but there isn't much food on your plate. Delicious Mexican food though so a nice meal out that you can enjoy regularly.
$4 soft drink is a bit steep.

Honestly it takes skill to be as bad as this place was. They didn't have the beer I wanted, or the food I wanted - and when I asked for a serve of soft tacos, they served me hard tacos instead! Never been to a TB as terrible as this.

Food is just ok, but expensive. The margaritas are terrible. The customer service was excellent.

Shocking Service, over a hour for an entree.
Been going there for over 20 years, a change of hands and not good.
Wont heading over that way for a long time.
Very disappointing, it was the best around, but not anymore.

The food came out quick and was relatively nice but missed the mark a lil bit but the beer was cold and went down a treat

Terrible experience at Taco Bill Boronia this evening. Went to take advantage of the always half price Mexican on Monday - Wednesday night. Upon being seated, we were not informed of any exclusions in the menu, not told about any daily specials or about the half price menu. We ordered 3 x burrito bowls and 2 x nachos with a coke and it came to $91. The staff FAILED to inform us that the food we were ordering was excluded from the half price and ignorantly believed this was our own fault. Upon further inspection, there is no information on your signage OR menu that suggests burrito bowls are excluded so we ended up paying $19 each for the bowls.
When the register staff processed the payment, they still didn’t inform us about the exclusion and were unreasonable with not applying the correct discount based on their lack of service and information.
My family and I will not attend taco bill again, back to Carlos cantina where the entire menu is half price - no confusion and expensive bill as a result of lazy, un-informative staff.

Went tonight. I don't know if it's changed hands or not but it was shocking. We asked if they had the $20 fishbowl margarita still on Saturdays. Waitress went to ask told us yes, took order. Then 5 min later came back said sorry no they don't now (even though we sent her to ask first) food was good but service not so much.
We watched many people come in sit for a long time and not be approached so get up and leave. At least four tables of people due to lack of service. People next to us waited well over an hour for their meal. With another Mexican restaurant near by we won't be going back to Taco Bill

The food was amazing, excellent price for all the food we got. The only complaint it the highchairs. They are very old, stain and I had to scrub at the food tray to get all the dried oil off. If they had some Ikea highchairs it would have been a perfect experience. Staff was also very friendly

Boronia Taco Bills is a good one. The food was fantastic on out last visit and will definitely go back. Need some patience with the service but all in all and enjoyable meal and night out.

Have been coming here quite regularly over the past three months. Not only do I love the food to eat in and have for takeaway but I also love the staff!

A few time when I come I tend to order things such as no salsa on top (because I'm picky) and there has been a few times when it has been super duper busy, where the kitchen has forgotten and then informed me to ask if I would like another one made. Being someone who has worked in hospitality and in particular takeaway restaurants, I tend to not care and am happy to take the order how it is because it's not an allergy thing and it's just a little bit of salsa. I know how it feels to have dramatic customers who act like it's the end of the world and I'm just not that type of person.

Although I take the order how it comes they are ALWAYS overly generous with either giving me extra coupon cards, free takeaway drinks etc. I really do appreciate this because they do everything they can to make up for a mistake even though I honestly don't care about its still so lovely they show how much they care.

Overall it just shows to me they really do care about their customers experience and they care about how their customers enjoy their food.

Long time customers. Went at 530pm for kids 7th birthday party on Tuesdays half price night. Unfortunately they were very understaffed and orders not taken till after 6pm with dinner finally arriving just before 7pm. The kids just ordered nachos and my nephew just had corn chips with guacamole and sourcream but still very long wait making them bored and irritable. We booked for 530 so we could have kids home in bed at a reasonable time. Food and service was otherwise good. Sad management cutting costs and only having 2 staff on FoH all night.they were apologetic for wait times.

Disappointingly slow service on a busy wednesday night. Nachos were pretty overloaded with slightly bland chicken. Deep fried jalepenos were ok, but not very spicy.

Hands down awesome taco's and nachos definitely will be back for more. Great little gem of Boronia.

- No. You can't. It is a restaurant.

We were just being nice to ask that (so they did not need to give us chips). The reply was super rude.

We've always had a good experience at Taco Bill Boronia in the past - have been eating there for many years (~20?). Service this time was very slow and the owner was rude. The main problem was that "1/2 price food on Tuesdays" is advertised but the when the waitress (owner I think) explained the menu hardly anything is actually 1/2 price? ! Perhaps they should have a different copy of the menu for the 1/2 price nights so customers don't get confused. I found it confusing and frustrating, probably won't go back.
