Jessica was absolutely amazing!

She was able to cater for my MANY dietary needs (despite Mexican being the most difficult to cater for - onion, garlic, avocado etc).

Despite all of this she was able to recommend dishes that would suit my needs, and even recommend switches that could be made to each meal to suit my needs.

She was an awesome waitress, super friendly with jokes, and just a genuinely lovely personality (also to mention the incredible playlist we enjoyed - some good classic throw backs).

Great food, awesome price, friendly staff. The sticky mexican pudding was massive so i didnt finish it sadly.

Food took 1 hour to come out, all entrees and mains came out at the same time.the coronas were warm.atleast the waitresses were nice.next time going to Carlos cantina

Waited over an hour for a my meal, totally unacceptable I'm still waiting as I write this, the frustration hungry is building rapidly. Poor planning on my part poor service on theirs. 1 star is too much

Served us RAW CHICKEN, that was completely pink.the staff were extremely rude to the whole table and kept eyeing us.overall a bad experience, wouldn't recommend if you appreciate food that wont kill you and decent food.and the front of house staff who was serving alcohol wasn't even 18.

I wondered why the restaurant was empty 7pm Friday night, and after ordering take away beef nachos I now know why, the so called beef on top was like slop, do your self a favour go somewhere else or make your own they’ll be 10 times better than there’s,
I’ve never had a problem at any other Mexican restaurant, just in case you think I’m picky or a constant complainer

Edit 2.0: since my last review, we decided to order again and it's definitely been much better. The wait time has improved tremendously.

Edit: after being told the initial time of 30 minutes, we ended up waiting an hour and 20 minutes. My husband stood in there waiting while the manager or owner (?) was having a very heated argument with Uber drivers who had also been told the same time we had. We weren't offered a discount or a free drink or any compensation for the long wait with zero explanation. The poor girl at the counter was copping the brunt of the abuse while being told to still say to people calling up "20-30 minute wait". Really not good enough at all.

The food is always nice but honestly, the last three times we've ordered we have been told a 20-30 minute wait and it ends up being over an hour. It's really frustrating. The food is always yummy and well priced, I just think they either need more staff or a review of their processes. If this happens again, I don't know if we'll come back.

Great food. Only complaint is that the portion sizes are enormous, had to use lots of takeaway containers

Food was good. I enjoyed my Margerita. Service was a little slow, but they're very friendly and will get better with practice.

Be careful when ordering takeaway.
Among some other meals we ordered the Nachos Supreme but when I got home no salsa, no guacamole, no sour cream just melted cheese on corn chips.
And it wasn't like the order was rushed, I collected the food at least 30 minutes after ordering.
Anyway I wish I had checked the order before leaving.

Great Food and great service identifying when mistakes are made and rectifying them. Only issue with food was the over salted chips side. A forgotten order in a group lost points and a bill overcharge mistake due to user errors causes a star to be lost. As a customer for 8 years we have found this store to deliver the best food outcome.

Pathetic service, ordered for delivery was delivered incorrect meals, contacted restaurant was not given a satisfactory re delivery option, left phone number for owner to call back & still waiting, no re delivery of correct food, no refund! Never ever order again!

I called during the day to book a table for FIRST TIME (ever) dinner at the venue. No answer and I realised it was because they were still closed. No message bank, so I couldn't leave a message.
I was blown away when the OWNER called me back to ask how could they help.
I was able to book a table for dinner.

The place is in a quiet spot of Lilydale with plenty of safe parking.

The venue is homely. Super clean with a very pleasant atmosphere.

The food is delicious. Perfect amount, flavours and imaculate presentation. Very fair price.

The staff is friendly and happily talk with you. The owner is there, working just like the rest of the team and with the team!

Thank you guys for the lovely Friday night (26/06/2020) and we will be definetely coming back very soon.

Food is always great. Reasonable prices. Generous deals on offer. Staff have been generally friendly each visit. Would recommend for anyone who likes Mexican food.

Food was nice. Place clean and neat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Worth checking your bill we were charged for a sweet which we did not order. Also another group did not receive a discount applicable for the night.

Was greeted and served by a lovely young lady who was very helpful and accommodating, food was great.

Well priced, yummy food, great selection of food and drinks but best of all the staff were AMAZING!

The service alone deserves 5 stars, the food was awesome, the price was pretty good and did I mention the service was seriously top quality! Saturday night staff looked after us so well.would give more stars if I could
