The main menu meals and dessert menu was pretty basic to be honest not much to quite offer although the vibe was great the service was awesome they were lovely and were quite attentive. We also ordered a Shisha that was made quite on point. I do recommend to stop by this place and enjoy a sit back and chill.

Tried this restaurant first time today and really disappointed by their serving size, not even enough for one person. Fatoush salad was just salad leaves nothing else in it. Overpriced!

Amazing Food and Restaurant @ Tabouli Lygon Street
My husband and I had the pleasure of eating at tabouli last Saturday night. We ordered the banquet which was very filling and a very generous portion.
Food was fresh and extremely tasty.
There was a perfect variety of food all dishes were brought out in a good amount of time and all were delicious and hot off the charcoal grill.
Staff are all friendly and attentive. We went on a Saturday night without making a booking and we’re accommodated and seated immediately.
We will definitely be returning as it’s some of the best middle eastern food we have had and prices are very reasonable for the generous amount of food

Absolutely divine food and wonderful service. I have the labneh, the pickled eggplant and shangleesh which is this home-made feta with onions and tomatoes in exceptional quality oil with as much free bread as you can eat. I could not get over how divine everything was especially the feta, which was just unbelievable.

I got mixed grilled takeaway, it’s about lamb, chicken and kofta with with white rice and fattoush salad, friendly ppl, and nice service, I recommend it for people who wanna get nice experience in middle eastern food,

Terrible attitude and customer service. We booked a table at 9: 00. Arrived at 9: 00, waiter told us they’re fully booked and to come back in 15 mins. We went for a little walk and came back 10 mins later, he shrugged and said sorry there are other people before you. We said you told us to come back and you’ll have a table for us. He said if you don’t want to wait, you can go. Terrible manners and customer service. Didn’t expect that from a Lebanese restaurant, they’re usually hospitable.

Booked for 9 pm, rocked up at 9 pm. Waiter shrugged and laughed at us in his shiny dress, “sorry bro, we full”. Told him we had a booking, another shrug. Whats the point! Thank god for the tequila from Across the road where there is a nice shisha restaurant. Shamble of service.

AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING PEOPLE. The food is one of the best I've had in a long time. Mashawi Grill is awesome and the guys running the show are even better. Thanks a lot for the amazing experience

Lovely hospitality upon ordering. Nice Kafta, chicken and lamb skewers. More bread to know what to do with. Vine leaves shrivelled and tied together with twine. Very nice hummus. Garlic more creamy than garlic. Wouldn't pay $25 for what we received for $75. Sorry won't be returning.

Went here for my bday on 1st of March and it was a beautiful experience! Ordered their mixed kebabs, nuggets and chips for the kids and prawn salad for mum then after dinner had Shisha.
Kebabs were really really delicious and tender hence had to order extra skewers. Their service and hospitality was the BEST. You cant get better than that, esp then owner. Wonderful, kind man so hospitable. Thank you if your reading this!
Pricing should not be a big deal when your dining at the busiest, most popular place in Carlton.

I ordered a mashawi grill and baba ganoush to takeaway. The bill was $42.the serving was very small for that price and the baba ganoush was burnt. I called up to give feedback and the guy answering said they are about quality not.quantity The food was extremely average and I definitely have had better. 100% I eon't go back again.

Can’t fault this food. David is a gem and his restaurant’s food is the authentic taste of Aramean culture. Can’t wait to do this again. Thank you so much for everything!
