20Great place for intimate dinner, food was delicious, staff friendly and fast, great atmosphere, easy street parking. Has an outdoor eating area as well.
The ambiance was good, food was good. Liked the trio of dips mango lychee mocktail and cocktails.
Loved our first visit to this restaurant! We will most definitely be back! The food was delicious!
Regularly eat at Tabla - the food and atmosphere is always 10/10
Super juicy meat, flavoursome salads and amazing service!
Nice atmosphere, Absolutely delicious food, the flavors are divine! The stuff are friendly and attentive, Yasmin was very welcoming, highly recommended
Food wasn’t the best to be honest and service not that good area parking is hard to find pricey I don’t know why … people there keep starring as i was eating with my hands i dont get it i live in the jungle why you starring just don’t go there
Pretty good. Really nice atmosphere. Pinot Grigio was amazing, trio of dips is the best starter. The mains are okay. Staff are always nice
The food was great, the service was excellent, waitresses were always checking on us, and the price was good. The only thing is when the place is too crowded, it could take an easy 30 minutes wait time for the food.
The staff are lovely here & very attentive. The ambience is relaxed & the dimly lit atmosphere further promotes a nice intimate vibe. Tried the chicken grill skewer platter which came with pilaf rice, salad, dipping sauce & skewer. The meal was light & full of subtle flavours. The serving size was alright, not too big so might need sides to fill you up if you prefer a decently sized meal. The Mango & Lychee Mocktail was so refreshing & the subtle sweet flavour paired nicely with the meal. Their side of bread & hummus dip was actually quite good. There was enough pitta bread which also was seasoned & crispy & the hummus dip was pretty big which compliments the quantity of bread served. Would go here again just to try more food options as the first time was a pleasant experience. Should check out if in the area.
If I could I would rate this 6 stars. Their TFC is absolutely incredible the chicken was crunchy and you could not taste any oil. The staff was really nice and we even got a complimentary on the house chicken wings which were great. The waiting time was less than ten minutes for an entrée and another five for main. The vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant was a nice and chill mood.
Food was good
Seemed under staffed although friendly enough.
The sun was right in your face made it a bit uncomfortable
Nice place but not much offerings for vegetarians. The bread and dips were sumptuous. The cauliflower was too bland and boring. Please offer more variety.
Good food! I normally don’t like Indian food, but damn! This foods good

I absolutely love the hummus here. We got a trio of dips to share and the bread and hummus were delicious. The other two dips were also good. We also ordered the eggplant, tfc to share and they were all really tasty. Moroccan Firebird was my main and the serving was huge, I had to take it away because I wasn't able to finish it all. I would come back to try everything else I couldn't order the first time xD
Very disappointed with our evening at Tabla. Chose to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday here as we’d heard good things from several friends. We had a larger group (8) so thought it would be easier to do the banquet, however had a vegetarian in the group. Explained this to the waitress who said they could bring out the cauliflower dish with the mains - great! However when the bill came at the end of the night we’d been charged an extra $24 for the cauliflower dish, meaning the vego paid $59 for some dips, a couple of halloumi fries and rice. To top it off service was extremely slow, and in the 2.5 hours we were there we only managed to get two rounds of drinks. They’re obviously extremely understaffed but this really ruined the mood of the whole evening and we left frustrated and disappointed. Will not return.
Delicious discovery in the eastern suburbs. Ordered the Night In for 2 people plus kunefe. Plenty of food for 2 people. The HFC was my favourite dish and the desserts were delicious. The falafel were a little bitter and I should have chosen another mezza instead. Loved the accompanying sauces and chillis. Finally kunefe in the eastern burbs! It did not disappoint, it wasn't as cheesy as some other ones that I've had as this one is ricotta based. However, it was crispy on the outside, creamy in the inside, buttery and not overly sweet. The baklava was crispy, sweet and the nuts were fresh. Definitely coming back for sure.
It’s a hidden gem! Very clean, nice feeling inside. Staff were friendly and welcoming- the service was great. All of the food was excellent and the portions were generous and priced well. They make nice cocktails as well. If you haven’t been here- give it a go. Try the tfc!
Value for money. The food was a taste explosion so delicious and the friendly staff made it a fabulous experience. Will definitely be back.
Nice Middle Eastern cuisine, drinks were reasonably.priced service was pretty good. The only thing I'd suggest is to change the music from House to r n b or trance music.house music made me want to eat in a hurry.lol.
MIND=BLOWN!
