Thank you to store manager Rhys and Mathew in sales and the rest of the team at Hoppers Crossing for their assistance with an out of box failure and changeover drill. Very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this store and the team.

Ty went over and above to help source a product I had ordered which had gone out of stock and been discontinued by the manufacturer. I can't speak highly enough of the lengths he went to in order to find it in stock at another store in the country and get it delivered to Hoppers for me to pick up, all the while keeping me informed of where things were at. Thanks a lot to Sydney Tools Hoppers Crossing and Ty specifically for literally coming through with the goods.

Best experience I have ever had. Rhys was easy to deal with. Kept in contact with me. Never pushed and came up with solutions. If there were more of Rhys in the world customer service would be 100%.

I’ve been trying to bite my lip against this specific Sydney tools. But if you go buy with cash and even if it’s 30c change they won’t have it and basically say you can leave us keep the change and you can walk away.
Very very poorly set up. Will do or say anything to you so you buy the most expensive thing in the store.
There’s a reason I spend the amount of money I spend at total tools and not here.
Piss poor service

Good blokes at Sydney tools. They were willing to help me find the tools I wanted, even changed a couple items in the combo kit so I got everything thing I wanted in one go. Phillip and the rest of the team are great and will help you with your needs.

Thanks guys!

Philip was great, went above and beyond to ensure I had what I needed. Even Stayed back after hours preparing and testing my items as he knew I had driven a long way to get what I needed.
Highly recommend

I purchased one of their Daytona torque wrenches less than a year ago. Torque wrench literally falling apart due to screws that kept coming loose and falling out. Took it to Sydney Tools for what I thought would be a no brainer tool replacement. Nope, they said it was misused. That's right folks, don't buy a torque wrench (Daytona) from Sydney Tools and use it to torque things. It'll fall apart and they'll blame it on you. What a joke.

Rhys was very helpful, knows his stuff.
Made my complicated transaction so smooth.
Shopping is much easier if staff is knowledgeable.
Will definitely buy from here again.

Rude staff. Go somewhere else. Plenty of other choices next door. All I wanted was some evaporust and they turned me away while still serving customers at 4pm on Father’s Day. Crazy. Imagine me having to do another 30-40 min trip just because these two couldn’t wait 2 mins.

Don't ever go here. I wouldn't give them any stars if I had it my way.
I bought a generator 18 months ago and due to covert was hardly used, it blew up a week ago so I immediately took it back and spoke to the manager who was really nice and helpful he told me it was going to take me a minimum of 3+ weeks for them to even look at it, so he suggested I take it somewhere else, which I did, they told me it should never have blown up and was obviously a problem with the electrical board in the unit, they couldn't get parts to fix it anyway and it was obviously a fault with the unit in the first place and that I should definitely not have to pay for any of the repairs, especially as it was in mint condition and hardly used, well, when I went back to Sydney Tools the area manager who was there refused to help me and said I would need to pay for any repairs that were needed and the problem was all mine, his attitude was unhelpful, dismissive and bordering on rude.
I'm now left with an approximately $1,500 generator that does not work, that no other company can fix because they can't get parts and no option but to pay Sydney Tools a huge repair bill for a machine that I am not confident was ever built properly in the first stage.

Generator used 12 times and because it's out of warranty they laughed at us. Trying to kick small business' while they are down. Read the reviews. Don't use these guys obviously they are flogs

Been there several times, not once was there a success story (which I would share). Cold, unfriendly, disinterested service. Little knowledge and the default is to treat customers as criminals. Just don't bother.

Hi there be aware of Sydney tools, I will need to find out how to put an official complaint against Sydney tools, some details I would like to share, I bought a pressures washer Honda gx390, TB 4000 typhoon after few times using I had high engine speed noise which did not comes down I immediately stop it and because it was under the warranty so didn’t bother to check it myself and give it to the Sydney tools for check and repair after nearly 2 months they get back to me and said pump has blown up and because you didn’t release the trigger within 3 min so it’s your fault and insurance has denied also they said we have lots of this kind of repair where customers are at fault and they asked me $420 to repair, so I took it back with everything open and give it to someone else, after 2 days they put everything back and told machine and pump is running fine it’s seems like it had just opened up there was no damage we just put it back and up and running, they charged me $250 to put everything back.
So this tells me that Sydney tools are not only have fake warranty for all their products but also shifty and ripoff shop. Please stay away from them.

The worst place to buy tools or materials from. Went to hoppers for silicone they said Moorabbin had it. Moorabbin said said they would send it to Hoppers 4 weeks ago. I didn’t hear anything back. I went to Hoppers and they didn’t know anything about it. They called the next day and sent me to sunshine. They only had Charcoal for a white caravan. Why would I use black silicone on a white caravan. I asked for my money back and had to fill in a form to send it to my bank within 5 days - it took 20 seconds to take the money from my account
Absolutely hopeless - terrible - I waisted around 2-3 hours travelling and calling to get a few tubes of silicone that in the end they couldn’t even supply

Terrible management from the regional manager Tom. Bully’s his staff and doesn’t follow fair work guidelines at all. Do not recommend shopping here and supporting such a company. 0/10

Went to Sydney tools Hopperscrossing, to purchase a hose clamp pliers set part number D9HCPS for $60 as advertised on line No stock that’s ok but there is another kit part number D9HCAPS for $88 when you look at both kits they are identical? Same tools as far as I can see asked if they could do anything on the price? A straight up No we’re not interested in helping at all, after spending $339 on trolleys for our work shop, that same day and recognising me after my early transactions they were very unhelpful very very very disappointed again? Second time I have posted an unhappy complaint with this company and I have never posted anything In my life cheers shauno

I bought a bayer’s polisher. It had scratches and I went to return it. I told them I want to return it and buy the better one. But they refused it and said coz it looks like used. I had the receipt as well in their system. The staff their refused to return it.
