I came here for a stylist fitting, i booked it online and I highly recommend it - especially if bather shopping is daunting.

My stylist Eiman was so awesome! I was so happy, it was so helpful and a better experience for me. I really do struggle at bather shopping, it's definitely a sensitive time and when they are so many options, it can be overwhelming - but walking in and not having the ardous walk through the endless array of swimsuits - you have your stylist waiting with options picked out just for you and what you need!

Friendly staffs. But supply is not sufficient. Requested for size 10 reef shoes. Only size 11 and 13 available.

I just had the most soul crushing experience. Being pregnant, I was looking for the Maternity bathers which were out in full view the last time I visited (recently).

I asked someone who worked there where they had moved to maternity stuff to and I was told it was all out the back. Without knowing me, what I like, what looks good on my body I was given a bunch of bathers that didn’t suit my style or fit properly.

With each pair I tried on, I got more and more upset with how I looked. I had absolutely no choice over the bathers I wanted to wear as the maternity stock was taken off the floor and they had to go out the back to choose.

This was a very isolating and upsetting experience and I felt completely disempowered Stock should be available on the floor for all body types, including pregnant women

I was just at the Malvern store where I have been disrespected by one of your store managers.

I purchased Speedo goggles on the 02/01/2023 at 4pm, and on the box the price sticker stated $24.99. Upon checking my receipt in my car I realised that I was charged $34.99. I went back into the store to get this rectified and let the staff know of this discrepency.

I was met by the store manager who explained that on your online store, the goggles were showing the price of $34.99 and that they must stick to the online stores pricing, despite her admitting that it was the stores own mistake that the price tag was not updated. I have worked in retail myself for 4 years, and the general rule of thumb is that the price on the physical product must be honoured. I kindly asked the manager if she could honour the price tag on the product, and refund the $10 difference. The manager spat back quite demeaningly, "Does the $10 really matter that much to you? ".

Unfortunately the manager just refunded me the entire amount of the goggles. This was not the experience I anticipated as I specifically went out of my way to go to Swimwear Galore based on positive reviews. Even though the $10 comes across as menial, it's the principle that the manager did not understand that really disappoints me.

NEVER GET A JOB HERE.this company doesn’t even deserve one star.the most unprofessional and disgusting business.i was treated poorly when employed with them and they falsely advertised the hourly rate both online and in the interview.other employers claim that was their way of ‘ buying ‘ me as they had lost a lot of staff (now I know why). They also didn’t pay me for 6 weeks and said it was my fault.have reported them to fair work and myself, family and everyone I know will never step foot into any of these stores again.judging by all of these reviews, looks like many customers won’t be returning

I was dreading having to make this trip, but it ended up being a really positive and empowering experience! Usually I come out of shopping for swimwear empty-handed and often in tears but I enjoyed my experience and found a really cute one piece. One of the staff members (Claire or Grace I think?) was so welcoming and lovely and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I'll definitely be back when I need another swimsuit and will reccomend it to any friends who have similar struggles to me?

The last time I visited this store was 7 years ago and sadly their service and staff are just as they were then.

I was walking around for about 30mins today grabbing swimwear, whilst no one offered me help or assistance - the girls working there all remained around the desk near the fitting room chatting to each other, not acknowledging my presence - which to be fair was not acknowledged until I left the store.

I went to the change room, was only asked how many items I had, and not asked the usual ‘feel free to ask me if you want help with sizing or anything’
As I tried on piece after piece, I would overhear other women being offered help, checked in on, asked for different options - without them prompting it first - whilst I was left in silence and ignored
After feeling like I was not welcome in the store - I packed the swimwear back as it had come on the hangers, got changed and walked out feeling unwanted and defeated.

Only one girl asked me at the end if I would like help finding anything but this was when I was already dressed and leaving the store. As a woman of colour and the only one in that store at the time including the staff I saw and other customers - I hate to think this was why I was overlooked - but I must say it is not the first time I have encountered this experience.

It is a the sadly reality that for many woman, including myself that buying swimwear is a very confronting, vulnerable experience and to be overlooked like this not once but twice in the only times I have visited this establishment is truly disheartening. I do not write this review to be unkind in anyway, I just hope it may help prevent someone else from having the same experience I did.

The ladies at this store are so wonderful. For some, buying bathers is so daunting and the staff in this store are so helpful and friendly and most of all kind.
I went there today and the staff gave me honest opinions on which style suited me most. The whole experience was made so easy and not once was I made to feel uncomfortable. For a bigger women it really was appreciated! Thanks to all the staff at Malvern East store!

Experienced amazing customer service today. Don't remember her name but she is short, has black hair, was wearing a bun and was working at the dressing rooms at the time. I was so stuck on which bikinis to mix and match, she found some cute bottoms for me in the sale section and I ended up buying them.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was so impressed by the staff at Swimwear Galore today that it was only fair! Swimwear stores are usually a little intimidating for most people, but the friendly and inclusive staff today made me feel supported and empowered. It was fantastic hearing staff encouraging customers to select what made them feel most comfortable and offering to trade styles and sizes - phenomenal customer service! Can't wait to recommend Swimwear Galore to my friends as a super supportive and friendly store!

This must be the most extensive range of swimwear in Melbourne, if not Australia. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. This shop loses one star because their range of bathers for young girls and babies was quite limited. The adult women's range takes up half the store and that's clearly their predominant customer base, which is fair enough.

Great shop, lots of choice. Staff are polite and helpful.
Went in for a swimming cap, goggles and ear protection for my kids and they had so many to choose from!
Great range of kids sunglasses as well.

Despite being a bit on the pricey side the store is well staffed who can recommend the right wear for any customer-man or woman. The variety they got in store is great as well.

My saviours. If you are looking for a nice swimsuit and do not want black only. And if you are game enough to try tens of garments. Thus is the place. Yes, swimsuits here are pricey but they worth it
