Swimwear Galore

My mum first took me to this store when I was 12 and I have never looked back. Great store for all body shapes and sizes! Emphasis on all shapes, had an amazing experience everytime and queer friendly.

Highly reccomend for anyone that may be buying their first bikini or bathers and for anyone having trouble finding the right fit. The staff are wonderfully helpful. They are expensive but well worth a look if you don't know where to start.

I'm not the biggest fan of shopping for swimwear when I've put on a few lbs. However, the staff, especially the young girl with glasses were amazing. I'm thrilled with my purchases and I actually think it's the nicest experience I've had in a store. (Well done on your changeroom lighting too:) )

I must congratulate the staff at the Fitzroy store - all very friendly and have great knowledge of their stock. All the girls are keen to help. Thank you to Taylor who helped my wife feel confident again post baby.

Was dreading having to buy bathers today but Monica at the Brunswick St store was lovely and really helpful. She directed me from the maternity section into the right area I should have been looking in! Everyone was super and not pushy at all, leaving me to take my time and make my own decisions.

Expensive. Signage indicating sale stock but most of the stock wasn't actually on sale.

When I told the cashier the signage was very misleading she replied 'oh, we've been getting that comment all day? '

Possibly the rudest customer service I have ever witnessed in my life, even more shocking as this despicable behaviour was demonstrated by the supposed manager. Snarky, snappy, muttering swear words under her breath.

My partner was too scared to leave this review incase she ever had to shop there again, and I feel pity for the staff who have to answer to this lady, all of whom appear terrified and likely have to suffer her wrath on a regular basis.

It is clear she has anger issues and there appears to be a string of recurring reviews highlighting this persons inability to treat customers as human beings. This is the sort of person who shouldn't be working with people, as customers or colleagues, and I imagine it is only time until she asked to move on and we can shop without fear of abuse.

I would leave 0/5 star review if possible.

Good choices. But most of the staff here very rude and not happy bunch. They walk around like machines folding cloths and servicing selective ones only.
Even at the end the purchase, person in charge she couldn’t spell the name or read the card details. She was struggling to read the details to create an account because she don’t have her glass. Not a very good experience when I went to purchase few items with my daughter.
Need to grow up and need to start focusing on the level of service. It is multi cultural world you work. If you don’t like your profession move on. Don’t ever demonstrate that with your customer. I was patient that day to put up with your team - Brunswick Team

Good selection of swimwear brands and accessories. For an outlet store though it's not any cheaper than retail store. Also lacking in kids sandles, but overall I found most of what I needed and staff were friendly but also left you alone.

Thrilled that i visited the Malvern store. Very helpful staff going over and above to help me find a particular style and size. One of the staff called around and located a bikini bottom for me. I was super pleased. Huge variety of beachwear, swimwear and accessories. Highly recommend.

Excellent, friendly, helpful service. Great range, including several options in seriously plus sizes.

With a cruise coming up in two days, I walked in this afternoon with a list, and walked out 30mins later with bathers, swim shoes, reef-safe sunscreen, two hats and a beach bag!

I'm still yet to try it all out, of course, but I'm happy with what I tried on, and I'm very grateful to the staff who helped me get organised in record time.

Staff are always helpful. I absolutely love that they make it easy to find suitable swimwear for people who have had a mastectomy.

Just like it says on the box, all th swimwear and then some. Parking is a pain, but the staff are friendly, choice is ideal and prices are fair.

This is a fantastic store for swimwear. All the big labels, but prices to match. There is swimwear for every shape, size and taste.

It’s been noted by many that the nice staff here are scared of their manager. It’s no wonder considering her unnecessary and unprofessional rudeness.

Great range for all body types. I never thought I'd find a swimsuit I loved because stuff off the rack in Kmart etc wasn't flattering on my body shape. Then I discovered Swimwear Galore, and it is literally the only place I buy swimsuits from now. I've bought two one-pieces, one two-piece, and a maternity suit.

Really helpful sales lady, great place to go if you need swim wear in winter or all year really.

I've been looking for swimmers for a month. Hit the jackpot here. Got everything I need for my holiday, 2 pairs bathers, swim shorts, hat sunnies. Staff were SO lovely and super helpful. There was a great vibe in the store with lots of people leaving very happy. Best swimwear store in Melbs!

God forbid if you have big breasts on a size 10 frame when entering this store. I was body shamed and humiliated by a member of staff. Also mocked and called “moneybags” after all that would fit me was a $280 swimsuit - which I was prepared to pay for out of desperation. I will however be purchasing it from Brava instead, as the staff there know how to treat women of different sizes.

I could not believe the loud conversations I was hearing from the group of young female staff in store, rather than assisting me or other customers in the change room they huddled around a computer and gossiped and judged women's bodies online. Very inappropriate language and very rude judgments on people claiming they had plastic surgery, drug problems and commenting on the size of their breasts. Buying swimwear can be difficult and hearing this large group of employees talk about other women this way, made me leave the store and purchase the swimsuit I tried on online. Unprofessional and unhelpful.
