Kosta was super helpful in helping me order some LED lights to retrofit in place of the old halogen lights in my fibre glass pool. I had previously attempted to buy some lights online but I needed someone with expertise to talk through the details and source the right solution. Thanks for your help! I’m usually not one to get online for a rant or to talk poorly of small local businesses. It's more efficient to move on, support a more reputable local business and know that practices of bad ethos eventually comes full circle. However, as other reviewers have stated, there is a concerning lack of honesty and integrity practiced here (so much so that it warrants giving others a heads up).

I have found one particular staff here to have no conscience. It's not just sad but also appalling to witness blatant lies used to cover up being caught out. When it comes to peace of mind these are not your guys. It seems common practice to charge their customers twice the normal recommended price and invoice you for products and services you haven't received. If you value time and people you can trust go elsewhere, definitely not here.

Providing wrong advice and Poor customer service.

My pump stopped working, they attended my house and immediately concluded that the pump's seal has deteriorated and pump should be taken to the office for repair or replace. They didn't bother even to check why the pump doesn't work. Their office called and said the pump is out of order and not repairable and should be replaced with a new one. They offered a CTX280 pump for $985, however you can buy it from ebay for $400-500 approx.

Finally, I collected my pump and installed back again myself and the pump is working perfectly like a clock since. There was no need to replace a pump. When I sent them an email and politely gave them feedback they were not very happy with my feedback and responded very direct with a poor customer service skills balming me that I excpect them to work for people for free. They didn’t bother to reply to my second email.

Hence, I paid them to attend my house to not to check properly and find the issue, giving me a wrong advice of changing the pump (which was unnecessary) for a high price and then poor customer service to communicate and satisfy their customer.

I am not happy with them and would not recommend them to anyone.

I just arrived at the shop a couple of minutes before 5 PM and one of the employees walked out the door telling me I can't go in anymore as they closing, I asked him are you serious, he then replied they had a busy day with lots of customers and he can't let me in. There was a customer or two inside. Now that's customer service for you. I will definitely take my business elsewhere. Thanks

Had the pleasure of dealing with Peter when needing to replace filter, salt chlorinator and pump. His advice for a system at a budget was really appreciated. Also a call out to Pete B who installed the new system and help rectify two leaking pipes. Pete B knows his stuff and worked efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone needing to talk through updating their pool equipment.

Technician James did terrific job!

But very disappointed with this store. Was sold chemicals worth several hundreds dollars without any information before service. Was overcharged

Cant speak more highly of these guys. I felt like they really took the time and went beyond to get my spa chemicals right. I have been to a few places now and I felt these guys were the only guys that didnt push products on me, even advising me to hold off on certain products. Good honest advice! Spas A1 Cheers guys

I had my pool pump and salt chlorinator replaced after years of operation. The Swimmart team were able to inspect the issue within the day I called, and professionally advised the most suitable replacements. The Technician who installed the equipment (James) was excellent. He was punctual, polite and careful when working in other people's property.

Don't Trust! Rough, untrained cowboys work at Swimart. I had a simple sand change done, and pool guy broke my salt chlorination cables by banging sand bags on cables. I was watching him do job so he could not get out of it, he said my equipment was old anyway and he will quote me for new equipment. (IT was not old). He also cut out all the blades in the sand filter and the whole unit was instantly broken. Cost thousands to repair. Swimart disappeared into the yonder on their horses. I sued at VCAT and won.

Was overcharged too - products on special in the catalogue (also advertised on the shelf) scanned at the higher price and I was charged for the wrong product too (also retailing at higher price than the one I was given - i.e. In their favour). No apology either when I returned for a refund.

Went elsewhere and had water re-tested, instead charged under $50 and water came up perfectly (re-tested a few days later to be safe). The staff at Doncaster are only out to make money, you’ve lost me.

SMALL HOME POOL SERVICE SHOP IN JACKSON COURT
This is one of the Swimart chain stores.
Its got the usual pool chemicals, pumps, filters etc to keep your pool clean and safe.
There is a small step at the front door which could be challenging for those in a wheel chair if they are unassisted otherwise once in the store its not a problem.

WORST SERVICE EVER! - Brad, you don't just hang up on customers. You insisted that I pay in advance and yet you never fully completed the work. My complaint with your service was genuine and you just hung up on me! It's a wonder you're still in business. Poor form!

Spent more than $8000 at this store, been using for four years, but I have to say that the young technicians are horrible, they have no idea how do to their jobs

Booked a service with these guys and had a very good experience. They changed out our filter sand and recommended a better quality filter medium that best suit our needs. They adjusted our pool chemical balance and fixed the chlorination system. Great service and very happy with the result. Highly recommended.
