Staff friendly, nice atmosphere but disappointed when ordered hard big breakfast with hard boiled eggs and I emphasised the point when ordering due to dietary requirements. When breakfast arrived I cut one egg in half and they were runny. I sent them back and the kitchen used the same eggs (cut in half) and cooked them longer. I would've expected fresh eggs but at least they kept the rest of the meal warm. Other than that food was ok coffee and Chi was good.

Food was really good, was expecting the coffee to be better but still pretty good. Very relaxed and chilled out! Felt kind of uncomfortable as the waiter was pretty rude, and felt a judgmental uncomfortable vibe, seemed to be like a very localised place!

Always fabulous food and service. Something for everyone in our group, vegan, veg, and bacon and egg lovers.

Feels bad to give two stars the service was great, with a smile and the food ok but the coffee was one of the worst we have had in a long time, so bitter, not hot in short not drinkable pity

Great coffee and lots of food options available. Great spot to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch.

We called by for a quick bite and were suitably impressed by the offering in the display, so ordered a chicken and a veggie baguette to take out. 15 min later, our order was “just being wrapped up” after being toasted. When we enquired why a fresh baguette would be toasted, the response was along the lines of “ we toast everything so that it’s crunchy. ”

Taste wise, not so great…. Sorry guys, we gave it a shot.

Really good joint, the owner is a deadset dude, internet/eftpos was offline after a storm and the owner was all “no worries just call in later and drop off the cash mate”
They’ve nailed the aesthetic as well as their Oat Latte’s. Do yourself a favour and get down there.

Good selection of readymade sandwich options, as well as a la carte menu with burgers, fries etc. A bit expensive ($17 for soup!), but everywhere in the area is.

Came in for a couple croissants this morning and asked if we could get the almond one heated for 10 seconds in the microwave. The waitress proceeded to death stare my wife and treated us as if we had asked her to bend over backwards. Pretty over the relentless localism at swell every time without fail. Great food, worst service if your comfortable with that enjoy.

Love going here for the Big Swell breakfast. Cool cafe, and free-range/organic grocer. Very popular always consistent quality tucker

Great spot for a post swim coffee and snack. They have a few giftwares there too although they are a little pricey. Staff are bright and friendly. If you go when they are busy there can be a wait although that is not unpleasant.

We visited not long before closing time (5 pm on Mondays) so their coffee machine was already turned off, we were served delicious hot chocolate instead. Apart from cafe style food the store also sells preserves, gifts in the form of jewellery, pottery, tee shirts and hoodies.

Wonderful little cafe, friendly service, great coffee/fresh juices and yum food! The spanish omlette was absolutely delicious!
