Best Thai food I've had in Melbourne. Very casual atmosphere with stunning food and impeccable service.

Consistently delicious and authentic Thai food. Massaman beef curry and vegetarian Tom Yum soup are our favourites. Highly recommend!

We've been coming here for a long time and have always had a great time. The food is fantastic, and a refreshing change from the run-of-the-mill suburban Thai restaurants that dot our area. However we had our first bad experience recently. An overseas guest was allergic to nuts and sesame and we were assured they would not put any of those in our dishes. Sure enough, every single dish came out covered in peanuts, cashews and sesame. To their credit, the restaurant cooked every dish again for us, but this could have easily been avoided.

Awesome food, decoratively presented and reasonably priced. Was quite busy the night we went and after eating there i understand why.

Eaten here twice. Great traditional Thai flavours! Service leaves a lot to be desired, would rather staff clear the tables rather than sit at an empty one on their phone!

Great Thai food. Slightly marred by just one mouthful that was nova hot with chili. Rest of dish (before and after chili mouthful) was great. Would still go back but would ask for no chili hand grenades.

Been to Sweet Tamarind many times and always enjoyed the food. Last visit was on a hot night and their airconditioners were not coping so it was uncomfortably hot. Otherwise OK.

Food seemed over priced for the portions given, lots of attention paid to presentation and quality was good just not enough.

Just bought a take away for dinner and met the rudest customer service in all of Melbourne! The gentleman who was at counter was snappy when we enquired about vegetarian options, and tried to tell is that we didn't know what the difference between vegan and vegetarian was! I don't care how good or bad the food. Will not go back to a place where my business isn't respected.
