Sweet Greek

Saw the crowd waiting in front of this store and I just had to check it out. Immediately noticed their vegan cakes and of course, I had to get some! Unfortunately as the place was really busy, I didn’t have time to take the pic of what I bought, but I can tell you their Vegan Chocolate Mud Cake was amazing! Perfect coffee pairing:)
Will come again to check on their savory Greek dishes selection, didn’t get to ask if there’s anything suitable for vegans, but from the crowd, I could tell they’re all delicious as well. Recommend to check this store out when you visit Prahran Market!

Beware the prices. Was charged $21 for a very average hedgehog slice. Ridiculously expensive.

Just came back from Italy in search of the best tiramisu, but nothing came close to Sweet Greek! To die for

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, before putting in a very specific request and order. Not only am I not from Melbourne, but it was also Greek Easter weekend. I sent through an email with an idea I had in mind to surprise someone very special to me, over the Greek Easter weekend. Immediately your staff made contact and helped me construct the most (from what I hear) amazing hamper, filled with all the delicious things your menu has on offer. Although your delivery service wasn't running due to the festivities, your lovely staff wasted no time in coming up with alternative options for me, reassuring me that my surprise would see the light of day. And it did. On time, neatly packaged, with a note in tow, ready to be enjoyed by all those important. For some people, the importance of sending and receiving food, might not be very significant. However to those who rely on others to see their vision, and carry out a gesture they aren't able to carry out themselves, it means everything. Your extensive menu, display of dishes and quality of service, is not only acknowledged but appreciated. Thank you for being amazing!

Everything here is great. I find the staff to be wonderful, even during crazy busy days working in a tight space.

Really rude on the phone when I asked if I could make an order. Despite their website saying they take orders and to call. The woman hung up on me before I could ask about their in store options. Shame as I live in the area and was excited.

Super tasty family picnic dishes for all dietary preferences + wonderful service. Highly recommended!

The food here is absolutely to die for. All of it. Just superb.

Standouts include the Galactobureko, Brûlée Vanilla Slice, Slow Cooked Lamb, Lemon Potatoes and the Spring-Slaw. But honestly, it’s all amazing.

To cap off the excellence of the food, the service is even better - down to earth, friendly, and an obviously happy workplace.

If you’re at the Prahran market then do yourself a favour and go here. The only pity is that there’s not more Sweet Greek shops in more suburbs.

One of my favourite spots in the area! Delicious, healthy, affordable salads, and always greeted with a big smile by all the staff here. The only problem is trying to choose what to order…

Was great with online delivery. Sarah was a great help with organizing and getting the items delivered for us to our in laws while we were interstate. The items were fresh, yummy and had a good feedback from the in laws. Well done Sweet Greek!

I would not hesitate in recommending Sweet Greek. The lemon potatoes were sensational

The food available changes but its all good, the best being the lemon roast chicken & potatoes, green beans and especially the Brussels sprouts salad - heated up and served as a side dish. The chocolate brownies have a strong chocolate flavour too unlike most which you buy elsewhere.

Very few words can describe the great stuff that comes out of this shop! Check out the photos, if you like sweet stuff (pastries, cakes and all) as well as olives and other Greek savouries you must try the amazing things here. Must see in person!

Having their pastry made me fall in love with Greek food. Spanakopita, polenta, pasta salad, and many more to offer in the shop at Prahran market. It tasted awesome. The spanakopita was very delicious, warm, and in a great portion. Every time i passed by the shop, it was always full of people queuing for the snack and everything else. Such a very comforting food.

I visited Sweet Greek while I was on holiday from Brisbane. Beautiful sweets and treats. They were just as delicious after a plane ride back to Brissy. The service was absolutely fantastic but it was a little expensive.

It's a deli shop. Friendly and inviting. Baklava was soggy and flavourless. It's Saturday afternoon.

Sweet Greek is located in Prahran Market. They serve a wide variety of high quality, homemade Greek food. You can get small portions of their ready made foods to have as a lunch/take back to your office or you can get bigger serves if you need something easy to take home for your family.

Said that, the prices are quite expensive but I do think they are justified in this considering the quality of the ingredients.

I found the food to be delicious and very fresh and the service to be very friendly. I would definitely come back for a meal here)

Tried 2 salads today. Nothing special. The biggest issues that there were a couple of olive pits and little sand pieces. A few times I thought I broke my teeth! May be coriander was not washed properly. This is unacceptable. I have not tried any other meals.
