Sweet Chilli Thai Restaurant

My husband and i came for dinner.at 5: 30 hoping for a quick meal. There was only one other couple dining the whole time we were there. I ordered a tea and then waited to have out orders taken. After about 20mins, and pressing the order button at the table, the waitress eventually came and took our order, however no tea was delivered. After another 20mins i asked again for my tea, it eventually came bit no food. Once we had been there for an hour, we gave up waiting and left without eating. The waitress apologised but didn't attempt to see how long away the meal was. It felt that they were actively dissuading people from eating here.

Great range of entrees. From the fish cakes to the curry puffs…the range of fish meals are amazing, the Penang curries, always plenty to choose from, at good prices. Heathmont is lucky to have a Thai restaurant like this.

Thai food is a pleasure to eat, especially when it's various dishes offer different taste experiences for each. Although we were part of a banquet, the dishes were all popular and everything was enjoyed by all. Will look forward to another visit for a wander through the rest of the menu. Definitely recommend a visit.

Arrived for dinner with my partner and we were told that we could not be seated as we had to book 24 hours in advance for a table to be arranged. Mind you we were the only ones there and all the tables were set.
There is no clear sign at the restaurant or on the website stating this is a requirement. There was also two visible ‘open’ signs on the door and it also said it was open online.
Ridiculous service as I am a regular customer and traveled 30 mins to eat here.
Will not be coming back.

We walked in at around 6pm. There was one girl at the counter with 1 table there and no one else waiting. She didn’t seat us so after 5 mins we sat down ourselves, when she then immediately came over and asked us to move to another table for no reason. She then never returned to take our orders after 25 mins even after we had pressed the buzzer call 7 times, in which time there was still no one else there. We eventually just walked out, and as we did other people walked in. Sure enough, they walked out soon after. Food from previous times we’ve been is also pretty average

Food portion were small, taste was average with not much thai flavours.charge extra on everything! Staff weren't so welcoming & happy!

Had dinner delivered and was very disappointed with what we got sweet and sour, satay and green curry also appetizers could not recommend any of these dishes as our satay and sweet and sour dishes were hard to tell the difference and also tasteless ours ended up in the rubbish bin this was the first and last time that i will use this restaurant it was my birthday dinner and very disappointed with it

Food is good however dishes we got were more chinese style, very oily and probably more catered to Western taste. Just dont come here expecting it to be authentic Thai food.

Delicious! Best Pad see ew we’ve had in a long time. Massaman, Penang and Pad bai gapao all yum. Entree delicious. Desserts great!

Sweet Chili Thai is consistently awesome and delicious! Friendly staff and excellent home delivery.

Tried this place a few years ago. Thought I'd give it another go. Think its still overpriced for the quality you get. The satay stirfry is like a runny soup.

Ordered Pad Thai (pork) and Pineapple fried rice (chicken) for takeaway on a Wednesday. Total 27.30 AUD. Portion size was okay. Took a bite out of my fried rice, immediately found EGG SHELLS! Lost my appetite. The Pad thai was extremely bland, not at all tasty. Could not finish them because they were so bad. Not recommended!

Very tasteless food, watery sauces and soggy veggies. Won’t be returning at all. So many more Thai places to choose from. Don’t waste ur time or money

I have had both dine-in and take-away, and both times the quality of food is great, full of flavour. Relaxing environment when eating in, with good service.

Used the Menulog app tonight and didn't get the delivery time until after paying.

Serioursly 90 mins to wait for fried appetizers and soup for delivery. Mmm Mmm

High standards in the suburbs. Nice table setting and glassware. Attentive staff. Buzzer on walls behind seating to indicate ordering. All meals were very good. Only disappointment was Larb Gai, traditionally spicy, has been dumbed down for western palates. Not a good move. Leave as usual and then give options please.

Absolutely, waste of money and mot importantly waste of Friday night Dinner. Tasteless food. I will say it was an attempt to make Thai food and they failed. Really very bad. Eat only if you are very hungry.hungry body doesn't have good taste buds.

First time at sweet chilli tai rest.we enjoyed it very much food was lovely. Staff was really nice people food.nice an fresh. Prices are good. Will go back.x

I work here and I love it:) the food is good and more people should come here and try the food I make the currey
