We are so very happy with SRSOD! Both of my children joined at the beginning of this year and we are just blown away with regards to the care and quality of teaching. Me, and my children's father have spent our teenage-adult life in dance studios being ex-competitors and dance teachers ourselves. I have been so impressed how the children have been learning technique and timing at a young age. We have tried 4 prior dance schools for our girls, but none have been near the quality that SRSOD provides in teaching/routines/event management and communication! My children also love their classes and teachers, they participate and are thriving! Which we didn't have at any prior studio (where they refused to dance). The teachers are very caring and compassionate. Highly recommend! (and thank you SRSOD!)

My daughter loves attending dance classes here. She has made some lovely friends and is taught by great, committed teachers. Lockdown was difficult, but being able to attend zoom classes helped my daughter get through the challenging time.

Amazing dance school. Thru Covid lockdown these amazing teachers kept some sort of normalcy to our children’s life. Our whole family is in debt to these ladies. Great dance school for all levels run by two amazing ladies. Come down you won’t be disappointed

Disappointing experience. When we enquired about our daughter missing half a term of dancing due to being overseas we were told that we had to pay for the full term. Seems that financial concerns at this dance school far outweigh those of the students or the paying parents. Another example of capitalism over compassion.

Anyone looking for a Dance school, I would highly recommend Suzie Ryrie. My daughter changed dance schools at 14 and was welcomed with opening arms by both teachers and students. High standard level of classes with many to choose from. Great teachers. Best decision she ever made.

Perfect dance school if you're looking for a place where you can fit in and really form incredible relationships. You become a family with other students as well as the teachers! Terrible Dance Classes, the teachers have favourite students and are very rude to other students who try their best. Classes are very unorganised as well, not impressed.

Having had my daughter dance at SRSOD for the past 11 years l can only acknowledge what a professional but relaxed environment this dance school offers. Having such dedicated teaching staff and beautiful friendships amongst all of this has me realise it really is a place to call home. Bring on 2016! Each year only gets better!

Prior to moving to Berwick 3 years ago I wanted to enrol my daughter in a reputable and family friendly dance academy. Word of mouth and particularly a glowing recommendation from my daughter's former dance teacher from another school miles away pointed in the direction of Suzie Ryrie School of Dance, saying she knows this dance school has skilled and caring teachers and overall a positive vibe about it - and how right she was! My daughter absolutely loves it here - always looks forward to ballet class and is thriving on the techniques she has learnt here in such a short time, inspiring her to pursue a career in classical dance. For me personally, I love the regular communication, organisation and passion of this family run dance school - we see it in the young dancers' faces when they're up on the concert stage - they're LOVING it and owning it and are dancing like little superstars! We love and are most thankful for SRSOD ️

If you are looking for a dance school where all levels of ability are catered for, staff are professional and inspiring, costumes are stunning but age appropriate, and both boys and girls are made to feel welcome then SRSOD is the dance school for you. As a parent of a daughter and son who both dance I could not be happier.

At Suzie Ryrie the students get to dance for the love of dancing, in a professional, fun and friendly environment. My children's dance skills have improved so much since attending. The staff are very approachable and and always make you feel welcome. My kids have danced elsewhere and upon entering the door at this dance school we were pleasantly surprised to find such a refreshing and enjoyable atmosphere.

I danced for 12yrs. I want my 3yo to dance for at least 7. I left 3messages & my phone no.each time. Not ONE call back. Obviously they already have too many students.or just terrible business practice
