This family-owned establishment, with their Thai cousin, evokes authentic memories of Thailand. The staff is welcoming, and the desserts are delicious.

Good Thai food, and the staff are so lovely and warm. I especially love their Thai salads. Thank you, see you soon!

We waited about 50 minutes for our entree.
After that waited 35 minutes for our main. So was very unpleasant waiting. But food was delicious or maybe we were so hungry after waiting for so long. I might try take away next time.

We have been here many times and really enjoy the food even order delicious takeaway but last night we ordered whole fish chicken satay and tom yum. Disappointed in all these dishes they lacked flavour. The yellow curry was beautiful the one dish we enjoyed. Unfortunately the rest were ordinary no punchy Thai flavours. The peanut sauce seemed like it came from a can. The dishes were all garnish with sliced oranges not a fan.

Unpleasant dine in experience. The lady there was rude and unprofessional.

We had just sat down. And she looks unhappy to serve the customer and came over with water bottle and wine/water glasses put them on the table and make enormous noise. The water in the bottle came out a bit and make the table messy. So do glasses. Kids and elders were shocked in our table. Other table even looked at our table thinking what was happening.

She has no apologies and she is unhappy for the whole night. Very terrible experience.

The food was good, but the plates she gave us were oily and having some rice leftovers. I normally will be ok with this, but not with that lady’s attitude. This is not hospitality!

There are a lot of choices in the area. We don’t need to experience this in our lovely night. If you ask me personally, never go back again and not recommend at all.

Food good size, good variety and great taste. Plenty of parking staff friendly and very obliging. Will return.

Wednesday night dinner service, was busier than I would expect but that was a good sign. Never been there before and loved it! Service was good, food was sooooo good and the atmosphere was great. Looking forward to going back! Highly recommend

Had a table of 10, staff were exceptionally helpful with individual dietary needs. Food was incredible. So many fresh ingredients, full of flavour. Within 1 minute of sitting down, pencils and crayons were dropped off at the table for the kids. Food came out promptly, hot and most of all, amazing. Thanks to the one wait staff that put up with my daughter (miss 6) inability to decide on how she wants her egg cooked.

My favourite Thai restaurant in Melbourne. Staff are always very friendly and the food in fantastic. Lots of variety in the menu and plenty of options can be made vegan on request. The coconut rice is a must try!

Great Thai food and friendly service located in a large venue suitable for groups. Food is full of flavour and it's worth repeated visits to try multiple dishes. Probably one of the best Thai spots around in my experience. Good selection of drinks as well including some classic Thai beers.

Went here for a dinner with a friend and we loved most of what we ordered. Not so much a fan of the crabmeat (entree) but the rest was tasty and quite filling. The Pad Thai and Red Curry was delicious and serving was enough for both of us! We also had coconut rice and spring rolls. For dessert i had the Taro custard and my friend had banana rice pudding, both were yum! Will be back for more:)

Their food is great. Gluten Free on request, and never had any issues with cross-contamination.

Been going here for years, the food is consistently fantastic and fresh, the staff are real friendly, and pretty good prices too. You have to try the pad thai here!

NOT gluten free/ food was stone cold. The manager said "he does care dont come back "after order was picked up

The food here at suwan thai is super tasty and will leave your mouth salivating and wanting more set in the heart of lower plenty its a small restaurant ideal for family's friends or a romantic dinner the staff here are friendly and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello so come on down and see for yourself

First experience - Waited 90 minutes for takeaway that was told would be ready in 20 minutes. Got home and container half full
Second experience - ordered mussaman chicken and had no chicken in it.
Very poor service we will NEVER come to this restaurant again.
Owner said he doesn’t care about bad review and to get out of his restaurant!
