Attitude of some of the staff to customers make it plain they don’t want customers or sales. Despite eventually getting a refund for a faulty product purchased a week earlier, the attitude of the shop assistant towards my Girlfriend was arrogant, condescending and rude. I was more than unhappy at this unreasonable behaviour. Shop assistant bellowed at GF as we tried to return a faulty shirt and made it clear that she had no intention of resolving the matter as she blamed GF for fault and would not listen to reason. Only after I defended GF did shop assistant finally moderate her tone and offered a refund. GF was hoping for an exchange but the assistant didn’t bother to see if other stores had any in stock and made a show of checking her own stock. I believe the refund offer was to just make us go away. GF had planned to buy more clothes that day but the attitude of the sales assistant left us both feeling angry so we just left. I asked GF not to step foot in that store ever again as no one should be treated with such disrespect.

It’s not about the outcome of the matter but the attitude toward to customers…cold and abrupt.
