Sushi Sushi Wendouree

Ordered a spicy tuna and Cucumber roll, and two salmon nigiri. Both were delicious and fresh, perfect temperature. Service was quick and attentive, and they were happy to include Wasabi and pickled ginger as requested. Only thing I would say is another couple of soy sauce packets would have been lovely, but I'll be sure to ask for more next time.

After eating the salmon and avo roll that i got in my uber order i had a small lingering taste of wasabi tingling my tongue. I dont eat/order wasabi because i cant have any sort of spicy food. Started getting stomach gurgles and gassy within 20 minutes after my food.
The food is always fresh and lovely but i think someone might have gotten some wasabi or something spicy on the same preparation area that you use for cutting your salmon.
It's not a big allergy so im fine but i will have an upset stomach for a day or two.
I'll ask next time i go past in person, but if there is anything else put into the salmon and avo rolls could you please add it to the description on the uber eats menu?
Kewpie mayo etc is all normal, just anything spicy or garnishes.
I havent noticed it before it might just have been a one time thing, i usually order the tuna and avo though.

Still left 4 stars for constant quality of food

I am obsessed with the Salmon Nigiri lately. Everytime I go to Stocklands I have to buy some because they are so yummy!
But more often than not, there aren't any available at the store?

Definitely do not go here! Got prawn & avo rolls as part of my order, they DO NOT clean the prawns or degut them sold out of salmon except the last shashmi plate which was definitely not fresh, and all had no flavour except wasabi, even bits that weren't near the wasabi, this was at like 9: 30am, not long after opening time and also stuffed up so much, bought yesterday morning haven't been able to eat since all sick within hours including a child under 2 not happy, never going here again such a waste of money and time, and the fuel to travel here instead of my local sushi place.

The best sushi place in Ballarat. Worth the drive from Sebastopol just to get it. Huge fan of the California Rolls and Tuna Avocado rolls. The rolls are packed full of meat and a generous amount of rice. Unlike other places, that have 80% rice and 20% meat. Highly recommend for your next sushi fix.

It's so nice to know that I have tasty gluten free options conveniently positioned right near the supermarket when I'm shopping.
The eatery is clean and the staff friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient were taking orders given her noisy the environment can be. Would certainly recommend.

Very fresh, flavoursome sushi, plus a variety of salads, other Japanese foods and drinks. The staff are very polite and helpful. They provide disposable chopsticks and soy sauce on their tables. They're located inside the shopping centre in front of Woolworths.
