Sushi Sushi St Helena reviews
5Hardly any filling in tuna cucumber rolls. All rice and not fresh. New containers for ginger and then wasabi put on top. The amount of wasabi is enough for half a roll even when ordering 4. Indiand should not be serving asian food.
Ordered salmon and Avacado rolls to have later for my dinner. Cut them up at dinner time to find out that the only salmon and avacado was in the first inch that is displayed. The rest was just rice. Quite deceitful as there is no chance this was an accident. 2% wrap, 2% avacado, 2% salmon and 94% rice. Take your money elsewhere. Keep the honest traders thriving and leave the rest to be found out and fold!
Overpriced. Who ever heard of a 'Sunday surcharge' at 3pm on Sunday afternoon when you're closing imminently?
Plus, your sashimi has BONES in it. Unacceptable!
Today I went to Sushi Sushi St Helena. Firstly, the staff member was extremely engaged in his tv show on his phone to serve us straight away. I ordered my brown rice, raw salmon and avocado hand roll and sat on the tables at the front of the shop.
Halfway through eating, I noticed the hand roll getting crunchier and colder. I flipped it over and the whole bottom bit was frozen, the rice and the salmon.
I checked my partners hand roll but his was ok (teriyaki chicken, brown rice).
I went back to the front counter, having to wait for the man to again pause his tv show and explained the situation.
He picked up the remaining two hand rolls to assess them and they were both frozen on the bottom. He then shrugged, said he was sorry and returned the half frozen hand rolls to be resold.
Was not offered a refund or exchange. Just a shoulder shrug
