Sushi Sushi - Food Central Food Court Chadstone

I usually prefer Sushi Jiro to other sushi chains. My experience today at the Chadstone Store was a let down though. I've tried a number of different sushi pieces and they were all sub par, from too spicy to off tasting dressings. I don't think I'll give it another shot.: (

Horrible and food isn’t fresh. They freeze their meals for defrosting serving next day my sushi was frozen and ice on the fish and cucumber. Not worth spending your money here rather eat McDonald’s

Guys what happened? You have been my favourite sushi joint for years! The last few times were less than mediocre. Sushi looks more sad every time. The place is filthy and without any love now. Xmas tinsel is still up, there’s so much dirt in between the belt. One time there were fruit flies in my soy, twice the gyoza came out fried to death yet I got charged for it. Today my apple onion nigiri came with some kind of yuk remoulade on it, the fresh tuna hand roll was drowned in wasabi. Staff is on their phone and chatting, instead of maybe cleaning up a bit? After years of excellent feeds I won’t return.

Food is acceptable, but I would give zero to service. The lady at the sushi bar seems really reluctant to service. I was planning to buy more but gave up due to her rudeness.

My go to place for sushi delivery. Really delicious and fresh! A happy customer.

28/06/2023: No longer a happy customer. Quality has dropped since then. Salmon sushi roll has poor quality salmons filled with very chewy bits and slightly raw rice.

Hi there ️ your restaurant is very stylish and makes me feel like I'm dining at the top of a hotel and watching the sunset go down. SUuuuper relaxing I also like the tablet option at the sushi train that you provide to customers. Very cool and thank you for your service

Great food, nice atmosphere, the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. I were completely new to the sushi train and confused how the system work but staffs were helpful and kind enough to take time and explained things to me. Overall a nice experience with Sushi Jiro Chadstone

Went there with my partner for dinner, extremely busy as always. The food is up to it standard, service was good. Staffs were very friendly despite they were very busy (look like they were a bit understaffed). Will come back again

Ordered several sushi plates and rolls on Saturday 7/1 around 4pm and all of us got terrible food poisoning. Won’t come back here ever again

Choose this one over Marae Izakaya due to this one has higher ratings. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing! The food selections were so boring and many ingredients tasted like from can food. Sashimi was soggy and waitress just threw the plates over like they are underpaid!

I really enjoyed my experience at Sushi Jiro, the sushi was fresh and easy to eat with an assortment!

I will not eat Sushi anywhere else, again I would drive afar.when in mood for Sushi to get this from here. Been to others but not the same. Love it?

Not our favourite, definitely better sushi options out there. Like it's not bad but nothing special.

I firstly want to say that i have been to Sushi Jiro chadstone multiple times. However, today i received one of the WORSE customer service ever!

When i arrived today at 6: 30pm, i walked up and waited in the “please queue here” area. The tables looked full so we just waited. But there was no lines and we were NEVER approached but a staff member saying Hi, or telling us how long the wait may be. There were multiple staffs standing around and doing nothing.

When we finally waked in, they just showed us where to sit. The floors were a mess, tissues and rubbish everywhere and my seat was dirty too.

The food was standard as always but there were no Oysters left for the day.

When we finished up, the staff member counted our plates and took us to the pay area. I was opening my phone so she could scan the app but she told me “i cant scan this anymore, i clicked liven pay”. I told her we were able to scan our membership even once we finished paying and she had no idea how to fix it. I myself had to tell her how to do her job in which i told her to “cancel my order and reenter it in”. She did what i told her to do and it worked…

To conclude, its completely embarrassing for a customer to teach a staff how to do their job and it was a horrible experience that was given to us with the rude service and dirty environment.

The customer service needs a lot of improvements and there’s not much variety of sushi’s. Most are just salmon variants

One of the best quick lunch or dinner if you in a rush options at Chadstone. The ambience cuts off the noise from the mall.
Sushi is always fresh and tasty. The staff is helpful and orders are brought in quickly. Great quality.

The quality of sushi is really bad in this store.
I am not expecting omakase quality but average sushi train quality. However ‘Neta’ of sushi was very small and very thin, fishes were not fresh, I can feel how much budget saving they are trying to do.
Go Maguro if you want sushi in Chad stone shopping centre.

It's ok. Rather bland, there are other sushi trains I prefer. No standout dishes I'd come back for.

The customer service was impeccable! All the food is really great quality, everything is made with love! Highly recommend!

Great range of various dishes, reasonably priced. Love the more traditional Japanese dishes not found at other sushi trains
