Sushi Sushi reviews
7Some people are impossible to please - one star for no soy sauce? Unbelievable. The best sushi place within Hoppers Crossing and Werribee, hands-down. I always get down here when I've got a hankering for sushi.
Always good for a quick, fresh lunch. Can't go wrong with the Salmon & Avocado, and I quite like the Salt & Pepper Squid. The Crispy Chicken is better than the Teriyaki Chicken as the Teriyaki Chicken can be a bit dry. The Seared Nigiri are nice, although the sauce is quite strong/sweet and can get sickening. They also do bento packs with sashimi.
Been buying sushi from here for past 2 years, still today i ecountered third time experience where they did not give me soy sauce. Then when i asked they give me 2 soy sauce for 4 sushi says we only give 1 soy sauce per sushi and not for pancakes. Pathetic and cheap guys, i always thought soy sauce was always provided by default.
Worst sushi I've ever had. I asked for teryaki chicken because that's what I always order, theirs was inedible even as hungry as I was. Might have been stale because it was toward closing, regardless I will not be ordering here again. Also did not follow instructions as I purposefully asked for white serviettes.
Personal favorite sushi place, every day fresh and prepared with care. Exactly what you want with sushi.
Clean, tidy and friendly but failed in the ultimate test for sushi. My teriyaki chicken was well populated with chicken at the top and bottom but vegetarian in the centre. The crispy chicken rolls we had, both had crispy chicken poking out the top but plain chicken inside. Bad form from our perspective.
Sushi Sushi is so much better than Tang Sushi in Highpoint. Tang is the worst because they charge for wasabi on top of an expensive sushi roll. However, Sushi Sushi need to watch out for hubs opening nearby. Good job Holden!
