Sushi Jiro

Sushi Jiro is a favourite for our children. They have a wide variety of foods and cater for any person.

Great service the worker Charlotte was a great help explaining how everything worked and was over all pleasant experience

Food Was good and atmosphere was great, except the blonde waitress made a disrespectful comment about my partners makeup.

Right from the get go, service was poor. Hire better staff who actually want to be at work.

Ordered a surf n turf through the iPad. It came out with a microscopic piece of beef on it and I wasn’t sure if it was the right one because it was also on a more expensive plate. Asked the waiter and he said that it’s the right dish and there’s a system error. I already said this directly to the staff working but nobody listens so here it is again. Fix your system or honour the price on the menu. If you want to charge for the most expensive premium plate, then make sure you can at least see the ingredients without the need for a magnifying glass.

Fantastic service and absolutely delicious food from the grill, especially the Katsu chicken!
They have an extensive range of seafood sushi options and they were coming out fresh right before our eyes.
Lots of vegetarian options with pleasurable flavours. I’d come again quickly.
Diligent management and service.

The udon and the sushi with egg was good but everything else disgusting and there was no service at all the workers were lazy and the floor and tables were pretty dirty

Good and service is good. They come around and clear your lids away saving table space.
Prices have increased though.

Unfortunately we were really disappointed with our visit, there is clearly a new step up and it’s just no where near as good as it used to be.

What we ordered was wrong and we were told that we would be charged again if we wanted our correct order.
All the meals came out a lot smaller than they used too and with the weekend surcharge on top of the bad experience it just wasn’t great.

I have been to other Sushi Jiro branches and found the Knox staff very accommodating. The food is always great & freshly made!

Love their new setup. Super efficient and reminiscent of similar restaurants found in Japan. Ordering small servings via touchscreen makes it really convenient and you can try lots of smaller sushi. All tastes super fresh.
We also got take away another day and they didn't have the pack we wanted so they quickly made it up for us.
If I had to criticise anything it would be their plastic-heavy takeaway containers. Really need to transition to cardboard or something.

Food was very poor quality. Used to love this place. Now they forget items and taste is average. Our salmon was off which we returned and was given a new one. However the salmon in our other dishes was also off.

Service is good, food is always so fresh and super tasty! We love coming here. My daughter loves picking her food off the train, and using the iPad to order!

I was enjoying the food greatly until the very end when I came across some unusual crunching in the scallop nigiri. Turns out there were some bits of, what I suspect to be shell, in the piece of sushi! By the time I realised, it had already been shattered further from my unsuspected chewing and I was not able to spit out all the pieces.

I was shocked to find that a massive franchise such as Sushi Jiro would make the mistake of leaving scallop shell in the food they serve to customers. It could easily chip a tooth or maybe even lacerate the inside of the mouth and gut.

Lastly, they were a bit stingy with the wasabi when asked for some more. My entire family eats wasabi and when asked for more, the staff refused.

My daughter and I had Sushi on a not- too- busy Tuesday afternoon. The food was fresh and yummy, we enjoyed the food. However service was poor, first we had to wait for a long time to be seated, even there are plenty of seats there and it didn’t look like busy.second no water was offered, my daughter was almost chocked and I have to look for water myself for her. We would like to go back for food there hopefully the service has improved.

Very good dining experience here. Very fast service and food is premium quality. I would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. Keep it up:)

The kitchen is visible from outside and is extremely dirty. The dust is always flying off shelves.

Genuinely my favourite restaurant currently! Always love sushi and this place is very nice! Nice workers and very nice food! Some orders take a bit but besides that it’s perfect! I would definitely give a try if you haven’t!

I loved the vegetarian sushi roll and udon soup. Good quality! The Okonomiyaki was not the best though

Okay choice for sushi train. Some dishes are nice but some are so-so. Orders do lag behind quite a bit when they are busy or the sushi isn't as fresh because they premake a huge batch ahead of time. If you want good sushi and sashimi, there are better options in the neighbourhood but you miss out on the sushi train experience.

Such a great atmosphere and great staff, food is always so good and fills me up. Such a great place!
