This has to be one of the best Japanese take away food places in the west of Melbourne. I have been coming here for over 14 years and have never been disappointed. The food and service half always been second to none. Run by a local family who know how to cook good food. Thank you for all the tasty food over the years.

Their Bento Box A is really great value, they are extra generous on the chicken serving size. Highly recommend this place

Asked for a STIR FRY udon noodles veg and what I got was a soupy tasteless noodles. Not happy at all with the taste, had I checked the food before I took it, I would have just left it there. Wasted $13 for this tasteless food.

This place is absolutely amazing, the workers are the nicest and so accommodating. Saw me with a hijab and even asked if I wanted the halal soy sauce!

I really love the food here my go to sushi is the crispy chicken however im finding that the chicken is not as great as it used to be and sometimes it looks and feels undercooked.

The best miso soup I have ever had, service was a little awkward but the food certainly made up for it, would go there again

Japanese cuisine to the extreme. I had beef curry on rice for $12 and the flavour that popped into my mouth was phenomenal. I snuck a taste of the bento box and the flavours and combinations were to die for. Being a humble food court eatery I was not expecting such divine flavour. Recommend 100%

We had been a regular customer ordering via uber eat platform or even pick up. We usually order fried rice platter - Chicken Garlic. But we were shock that they had decrease the quantity tremendously. It is not even fill up to 3/4 of the container. I had called the shop and the rude lady kept telling me nothing she could do. I had leave my details so that the boss could contact me and waited for the whole day but they didnt bother to call back.

Was looking for something different that would be yummy and healthy and found this! I have tried their bentoBox A which included rice, crispy chicken, chicken gyoza, salmon sashi and pickles. On sides mayo and sushi sauce! ALL THAT IN JUST 17.50$.

Use to order off Uber all the time in 2019, then I moved away. Now in 2021 I am back to ordering on Uber eats & it still tastes so good. It's my most favourite place to order gyoza, sushi & tempura prawn. It's always fresh as well, love this place

We each had a lovely bowl of teriyaki chicken with veges and rice. It was gluten free and coeliac safe! We are very impressed the chef understood what we needed and prepared our meals carefully. We will be back soon!

A nice Japanese restaurant with nice sushi that is made the right way, flavours are good, fresh ingredients used, halal options available.

I always order through UberEat. Their Japanese beef curry is amazing. Their sushi is always fresh. I love all their Bento dishes and most importantly they action your feedback except for today when they forgot to leave chopsticks? Still my most favourite Japanese restaurant in the area.

Chunks if unflavoured rice. No seasoning. The most disgusting fried rice i have EVER EVER had. No mayonnaise with fried chicken. No seasoning on any other food. Sushi roles were disgusting too. Horrible taste and looked and tasted stale. This would have to be the worst meal i have EVER ordered. Very expensive for tasteles, old food

My family and I love Hinode. Have been getting their bento boxes and sushi from them for almost 10 years. I just LOVE ordering from them.

Great food cooked fresh and too your liking with excellent service from friendly staff. Great value for money and meal size very filling. Would recommend this eatery too everybody.

Everytime I eat at this place I get diarrhoea, either me or my partner don't feel well after eating here. Seafood soup had a clump of seafood stick or whatever that was not pulled apart just thrown in there. The salmon in the soup as well had an expired smell to it. They need to do a health check on this and cause this is unacceptable.
