Sushi And Coffee Japanese Cafe

I almost passed by the inconspicuous-looking store opposite Coles in the shopping centre. It’s the kind of store you don’t usually stop to try. It specializes in Japanese cuisine. The curry chicken cutlet rice I had this time was large and not greasy. The tender and fried curry is mild and the side dishes are fresh and go well with the rice. It is said that the chef came back from Japan and learned the craftsmanship, which is very authentic. The waiters and ladies all served with smiles and the tables were cleared quickly. The overall dining experience was perfect.

As an interstate traveller, I'm wary of where I decide to eat. There was no regrets here.

I'm unable to decide which is better.the friendly service or tasty food. Highly recommend

Best chai latte in town served with a wafer and a smile staff are friendly not just to humans but your fur babies too. I would never tire coming here and would truly miss it once I move office.

One of my favourite places at Bayswater. Staff are very pleasant.
Food is very good, at a reasonable price. Coffee is extremely nice.

Seriously, without a doubt, some of the best katsu curry outside Japan, chicken is perfect and the curry, it's what I expect to taste in Japan. 2nd time I've been here this week. If you get the Katsu Bento ask for curry sauce too!

It is a good environment and has a nice services. But the food is very planned. Like a home cook chinese dish not japanese style at all. Not dedicated. Each little dish is separated no connection. I'll encourage to try but myself will not go back.

Friendly service, surprisingly good coffee. Looked hard for a decent place that looked like served acceptable coffee around here. Settled on this one as it was the only one that seemed to have customers. Was pleasantly surprised with my almond cap. Decent strong coffee, well
made. Food looked pretty good too but didn’t try. Has a bit of a convenience store feel and something missing to be a cool cafe, but pretty good for these parts.

There's nothing novel about the "Buy 10 coffees and get your 11th coffee free" type cards and many cafes offer these cards now but how about a "Buy 10 meals and get your 11th meal free" card? Well the Sushi And Coffee Cafe gives you this all in one card. On one side you can work towards getting your free coffee and flip it over onto the other where you work towards your free meal and I have to say, both the coffee and meals are great!

I'd give Sushi And Coffee Cafe 6 stars if I could)

Best prawn sushi I have ever had the privilege to consume. Pepsi Max was the perfect temperature, nice & cold. Seats comfortable. Service with a smile, 10/10. Coffee was also a nice temperature and delicious.
Would recommend.

Good service, Focascia and Flat white coffee was done well. Pet friendly too, by the look of things.

EDIT: They took the Oyakodon off the menu. Saddest moment of my life
I dream of the Oyakodon from here. This place is surprisingly good. They need to change their opening hours though. For the love of everything, closing at 3pm and not opening on weekends sucks. I used to come here every Sunday and now it's basically only available for retirees

Food is always freshly done, and perfectly cooked. Has several Bento and rice bowls from katsu Don to salmon Benton. Had the sushi rolls too. Nice ambience and a great neighbourhood Cafe.

Coffee was really yummy, however I waited 15 minutes for it which is probably the longest I've ever had to wait for coffee.

Staff were lovely, but my only advice is maybe inform customer there is gonna be a long wait as I was on my lunch break and was then late back

Lovely coffee shop, yum sashimi, western foods also. Excellent service, employees really care and I love the individual pretty teapots they serve the tea in. They have moved, but still at baysy shopping centre site, in old baysy cafe.

As the name suggests they sell sushi and coffee, now I don’t eat sushi normally but I definitely eat coffee, so 50% of their advertised product offering suits my needs and I popped in for a quick coffee on the way out of Coles and to my mouths delight the deliciousness was very satisfactory well done and thank you see you another time.

I use to pass here alot when I liked sushi rolls. As of late I've been getting the kimchi beef ramen and it's one of the best ramen I've had. I'll give it five stars for that and the fact it seems like the place all the old people like to get their coffees and toasted sandwiches. Wonderful place with beautiful staff.

We arrived with three hungry children, and they were all excited to order the Bento boxes displayed on the digital menu, and the printed menus on the table.

After some time choosing between the delicious looking options, we went to the counter to order.and were informed that nothing we wanted to order was available because the kitchen is closed on weekends!

We left having wasted a bunch of time, with three hungry and disappointed children. If you're going to close your kitchen on the weekend (a totally reasonable decision, commercially speaking) please make it clear on your menus and boards, or at least tell people while they're sitting down reading through your menus!
