Visited Aqualink Box Hill today and observed an instructor being quite rude to a child.

The little one unaware that the lesson hadn't concluded, quickly entered the swimming pool. Despite her mother's attempt to stop her, it was too late.

The instructor scolded the child, causing fear, and she promptly returned to her mother. I believe there could have been a gentler way to remind the little child. As an instructor, her apparent lack of enjoyment for the job and impatience were disappointing.

My son learns swimming at this center from level 2 to Junior squad, most of the coaches are great! Experience some ‘not that good’ administration staff (reception). However Jing is a terrific one I had ever met, patient polite, professional and really helpful. Excellent customer service!

Modern facilities, ample parking, friendly service. Next door is the Surrey dive, a historic swimming spot. The residents around here are blessed to have this place. Highly recommended area.

Bad experience! I purchased the private session holiday intensive program months in advance and got mixed up between Week 3 and Week 4 in my memory, instead of Week 2 and 3 as the enrolment plan. They did not call to check why my son did not turn up for five sessions continuously. Yes, I accepted it as it is my fault. Nevertheless, there should be some communication with parents that show they care about their customers, especially for private session one on one like that. They just take the money and do not care. Today they suddenly sent out the cancellation notice of the school swimming program, which I had to pay two months in advance to hold the place, due to no teacher. That is ridiculous of them. And yes, it depends on your luck to have a good teacher. Sometimes, you could have someone who has their mind elsewhere while teaching your kid

There are some great teachers but it all depends on luck who you've got.
Assessment is also depends on who as well, feel like the assessment is not very consistent.

Calling during the busy re-enrolment period is not a good experience, but otherwise most time the staff are friendly.

Fantastic swim school! The staff are so friendly - from the receptionists, to the instructors, to the Aqualink lifeguards. There is no judgement at all in adult classes and the instructors are so patient and supportive of people of all swimming abilities. Thank you to Veronica and Juliet for their encouragement! If anyone is considering learning this essential life skill, don't hesitate to enrol:)

Great swim school with caring and friendly teachers. They make the best use of the lessons and are very encouraging. Their adult classes are also well worth the time if you are looking to improve. Emma has been a consistent and great teacher through the term!

HORRIBLE. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Ian Pope tries his best to make you believe your kid is inadequate if they don't do 2-3 sessions per week. How dare you make a kid aged 9 choose a sport over another. Shame on you. The teacher Anastasia Romero is horrible. - no wonder none of her squad wants to compete in races on the weekend.

My daughter's teacher at the BHS pool had asked the female lead instructor last night (Thursday 5/9) to assess her, as she had been having trouble with her freestyle. Not only did the lead instructor assess her, but she spent 15 minutes of individual time with her so that the class could continue. Thank you to the lead instructor, and Surrey Park - great quality service and attentiveness, her swimming looks so much better!

Great swim school, clear goals and the staff are both friendly and very competent. They are great with the kids and make the lessons fun. The kids can also stay and have a fun swim around the lessons (great incentive). Especially great for after school lessons.

Was told today I couldn’t take a photo of my little girl learning to swim, I have been unable to find this policy anywhere, I was told it was on the website! I was unable to find it. Not sure how this creates a dangerous environment for our children in fact quite the contrary. I found this offensive!

My son had a lesson to day, after starting lesson at 6: 00 pm I went to the one of the lead instructor (Claire) for assessing my son but she was talking to another lady (probably lady was her friend) and the time was 6: 02 pm after couple of min she asked me can I help you? Then I said ; can you please assess my son today? Then she said ok let me check the paperwork then will do that.
Again she's back to that lady and kept talking till 6: 28 pm, when she came back to start the assessment she started to assess all of 5 students in 2 min because the lesson is finishing by 6: 30 pm, end of story, she made couple of excuse at the end and I could not believe this case. Parents paying for it but some staffs!? Very embarrassing and unfair.
